hey guys,

currently running on 20" xhp shorelines and looking to change back to something a bit less out there. looking for some 18" by 8.5 or more but the budget is at 1600. not sure of too much aside from lenso's and possibly drifteks being that they are 5 spoke but after whatever dish can be gotten for the money Razz

cheers in advance

scott

i have heard that drifteks can crack the spokes under decent cornering on a heavy girl(i.e an aristo)

2nd hand ftw, rims for that cost wont be great quality, look at YHI/ Wheel demon online they will sell for around that price. (for the advanti range)

sold about 40 sets of D-teks in my time, not a complaint as of yet. (drifters +road) but it only takes one wheel to fk up to have an issue, i wuldnt sell them (and beaurepairs wouldnt allow me to) if there is more than a few% chance of fault

but to be that % would suk dick

i was just about to start another thread for a poll on 2 wheels im looking at for my next set, but might be a bit outta your price range holmes (closer to $700 each for 18" ) just wheels

ended up getting the koya r1's that were coated black then clearcoated at cams bodyshop, bit of gutterrash but for a set of 19's with 60% tread plus 4 spare tyres thought was a fair price for 1100 Smile

have you had a look at that i think its called lenso d1 or something. they are cheap and look pretty sick and can get good offsets as well. not sure what exactly they are called but i think initial d wheels or something
