As the topic already states, and also which coilover would you suggest? not too bumpy, more comfort-oriented, but handles better than the factory. Does TEIN CS mean Comfort Spec?

CS is comfort spec, and LS is also soft, best compromise if you don't really want to flog the crap out if it on a twisty road. Run FLEX in mine, nice in the hills _________________

About $600 off ebay for the EDFC, and a set of FLEX..... well I know you can get them new for about $2200 in Adelaide. The used ones on here are a steal @ that price _________________

Last freaked with by Greeny on Mon Feb 09, 2009 12:25 am; freaked 1 time in total
comparing the tein cs and the hks ls+ is hard. they're both highly adjustable, in dampening and in height, and so will achieve much the same handling and ride quality as each other. the purple of the hks looks better
as for the difference between stock suspension and one of the above - its like comparing a Kia to a Ferrari _________________

the coilies can be reconditioned, but the cost wouldn't justify it (for me, i welcome differing opinion).
better off putting that money towards a new or a really good condition secondhand set _________________

I have Flex with EDFC. You can't have a more flexable set-up! Mine works a treat and, I've lowered the car via the coillies and, although you don't have a factory soft ride, it is very bearable and she handles like a small car. To me anyway.....
My wife enjoys the ride and handling too! Now that's saying a lot!
It does highlight other age-related problems with the factory suspension tho and all the bushes should be replaced......speaking of which.......... _________________
Maybe check out Monkey Warehouse?? They may have some...
Or contact DMD (i think they're basically the same people anyways).. but they'd probably be able to help ya out! _________________
looks like everyone has it covered, Greenys right Flex isnt cheap, but its a new coilover so its far superior. when i was trying to source wholesale around that 2200 mark was really good. but i havnt bought suspension since this whole economic crissis lolz
