Anyone know the fifference between the round and flat leds if tha tmakes sense?

One type is dome and the other id cylindrical?

My guess would be viewing angles but in the listing it lists the same viewing angle Confused

Or is the only difference profile?

i belive the flat tops shed a wider beap of light but could be wrong
