Hey guys,

I'm looking to replace the dodgy stock rubber/plastic intercooler piping on the drivers side with aluminium which will also need a BOV mount welded to it.

Any recommendations that are relatively close to the city and do decent work?

MTQ were going to do it for me but they can't give me a time frame for getting the work done and want me to leave my car with them for "24hrs", they suggested I get a cab fair home and back when the car is ready but at roughly $50 each way it kind of defeats the purpose. They've also taken over 24hrs to weld some new mounts on to the Greddy cooler so I don't know how long I'm going to be car-less for. They're great guys and were really helpful but the logistics just make it too hard.

I took it to my mate at D&T exhausts but they only do Stainless which he said would soak up a lot of heat, which makes sense.

I'm now thinking maybe just buy a premade straight 2,5" pipe and put a silicone elbow on it but I'd still need the welding done for the BOV.

Cheers!

To get that adaptor pipe welded on to the piping I gave you with the bov I just went down to profix, got them to cut a length of pipe, drill out the hole and weld on the adaptor pipe. Didn't charge me

Um, think it was like $50 to weld my custom down pipe with all its weird angles and put the bead on the ends to keep cooler pipes on. Also cut the lugs off my alloy rad, and re-located them.
