Hi guys,just curious those that are running a t04z with a 0.84 rear,what is the boost response like as in what rpm at what boost(psi)

with stock torque convertor it was 4000 rpmish (dads car has a t04z on it) but obviously with cams stall it will come on earlier.

true, i have a 3k stall,how do you think it will be for me,or should i just get the $1100 mv stall$4k converter

20psi before 4000rpm.

Get at least a 3.5k stall, boost repsonse is pretty instant with one, imho the 0.84 housing is too restrictive but suits a street car perfectly but wastes the T04Z's true potential.

I think that a 4k histall would be too sloppy for the street, good for drag racing but I can stall my 3.5k histall to 4k+ on the line anyway.

Put the T04Z on and get a feel for it with the 3k stall then go from there, if it lacks just a bit of response then go a 3.5k stall but if feels too laggy for your liking go a 4k.

thats great info mate,i'll wait and see how it goes,the 4k stall sounds great tho,love big converters

ha ha,alot of time and money,but if i was to ever buy another aristo,i would option series 2,black,(202),6speed and single turbo with lsd, Very Happy
