Getting an ebc in the near future (probably an eboost 2) and wanted to know how it would go reading the boost pressure in the sequential system seeing as it also acts as a gauge. Does the pressure reading come directly from the solenoid? If so wouldn't this read boost for the second turbo only?

If the boost pressure sensor is seperate would the ebc use this reading to control the pressure to the gate through the solenoid?

It will be built into the solenoid unit.

The EBC will read the combined boost when both turbo's come online. You would still need an MBC or similar to control the first turbo boost levels.

PS: I have a HKS EVCIII for sale that you should buy Wink

So if I set up an eboost2 the gauge on the controller will read pretty much no boost until the 2nd turbo comes online?

Already have a mbc on both turbos

Yes - It still would read the boost from the first turbo..

You would normally take the pressure source from the intake manifold..

So the solenoid should use the pressure from the manifold to control boost?

Just didn't want to spend a whole heap on a controller only to find it only reads boost from the 2nd turbo
