Hey guys just purchsed a LSD centre from stacey on this forum. Took it to my mechanic to install and he rings me saying that it won't fit...fml! Can someone confirm that it's the wrong centre? I know it looks different, but the torsen is supposed to look that way, is it just missing something or is it from the 6spd?

The one out of my car is on the left, the lad is on the right

Er.. Don't think that will be fitting any time soon.

Certainly looks like it is out of another diff.

Looks like a Toyota Torsen to me.

What did the Diff guy actually say was wrong with it?

He said that the crown wheel and the centre have a different amount of holes in them.

Is the diff out of a Supra? They have more than one series of diffs and one is a bit larger than the one in the JZS147

Whack it up on SFAU and you should be able to get rid of it.

Jamie has a Torsen for the Aristo for sale.

Spot on Supra 6spd / auto TT centres dont not fit our cars common misconception !

Ive warned alot of people offlist of late in regards to buying of 6spd diffs advertised recently...Stay well away !

Soarer 4.083 ratio diffs are you're next best bet if you cant find the Aristo Torsen LSD.

Oh deary my:

True that Daz.....Just wish at the time the purchaser made a thread up to get views if it would fit or not luckily a few owners including yourself asked me via PM.

Id think this will end being a sticky this thread "buyer beware"

Yeah, was advertised as a direct swap. Kind of a sinking feeling when your mechanic rings you up to say it does not fit but you have to still pay up Sad

My car runs a Supra diff but has Cusco 1.5 way centre.
