If your want to buy a bossy Aristo, i recommend checking the forsale section here, becasue most dealer ones are stock as a rock. there are some bargin aristo that flyby here all the time.
Im from western sydney also, alot of good cars come up for sale out of the sydney suburbs unfortunately ...but its not to say there isn't any good one's for sale in sydney. There are a few on car sales.
Things to look out for would obviously be general condition of the car..
Take some time browsing around the forum and you'll get to know what to look out for when buying an aristo..
It's always good to get an aristo that has had a major service and the timing belt has been changed, cam seals have being changed and possibly ball joints as these tend to fail on the heavy aristo's.
Good choice on the aristo, besides the fuel bill there a fantastic car, there luxurious and really get up and move..
