Buying a aristo need advice!

Sup guys i really want to buy an Aristo and i have gone seen a few. 2 of them caught my eye but both seem to have a problem with coolant bottle breaking is this something that happens often? and also i would like sum advice what to look for in order to judge if it is a decent car or just rubbish. and help would be greatly appreciated.

coolant bottle? do you mean the radiator? the top tanks of the radiators are prone to cracking, not a major drama though, can get a replacement no worries

its the bottle that keeps the extra coolant in it just above the air filter the white one on both cars it looked like the plastic deteriorated

Honestly, I've never seen nasty crap in the overflow tank.... Unless maybe they had done a radiator?

If the overflow bottle has perished be very wary about the mileage.

so its an indicator that its done a lot is it. one had a big hole and supposedly its done 70k the other done 92k and will need major service soon but it shows that the overflow bottle on the side is cracking

Sounds very suspect.. My aristo has done 180k ish and the overflow bottle looks fine.

Check the brake pedals for wear (indicator its been driven heaps) and steering wheel if still factory item.

first thing i though was must have high kms. i looked at a supra that my bro bought back when he was over there had 75k kms on it and looked like new under bonnet so i would say stay away
