hey guys i couldn't find it using search so i thought i'd ask. has anybody considered doing a 1uzfe swap and does anybody know whats involved/ do engine mounts line up etc

to swap from a 2JZ to a 1uz???

be easier to buy one with a 1UZ and take the front drive shaft out

Agreed I mean they come with them so I wouldn't bother with a conversion and all the hassles associated with that.

I must admit, I have considered a 1UZ Aristo though....it's still be TT too Very Happy

mate the lexus v8 IS the next performance motor.... as soon as everyone wakes up to how good they are they will be like rb26s wayyyyy over priced!!!! am in the middle of fitting a 1uz to a s13 with tremec t56 and hks t51 kai, also mate fitting a 1uz to his toyota hilux with 4wd, and twin gt30s

i wanted a v8ifour aristo but i got talked out of importing one due to lack of parts availability which is why i wanna do the swap... lack of awd

i will have a bell housing so u can use a tremec t56 6 speed manual, if want i can get another? as for mounts , i doubt it would be difficult getting the engine sittin in nice, just gotta nut out a plan first and have a chat to a welder to knock up engine mounts and gearbox mounts seeing u dont wanna use the 4wd system, then use the the aristo 1uz engine loom and computer

Lack of parts? With all the V8 Soarers & Celsiors floating around, and also how Lexus sold the LS400 here, parts are not an issue. The only part that is unique to this car is the transfer case, front shafts & sump.
