Don't know if this is appropriate being in here, but thought I'd give it a go anyway.

Basically, I've just started the process of importing an Aristo through J-Spec. One of the reasons I suspect the car hadn't sold yet was because it had some pretty dodgy mags on it... they were aftermarket and way too small (from the pics, look to be 16" or 17") and just not a real suitable style for an Aristo.

Anyway, even though it's a fair way off, probably another 2 months by the looks of things, I wanted to see if I could tee up borrowing a set of stock JZS147 mags with good tyres that would pass compliancing. I don't really want to replace the tyres on the aftermarket wheels that come with the thing, because I want to get rid of them ASAP to get a decent set of 18's or 19's.

So yeah, basically I just wanted to see if there's anyone in Brisbane that would have a set of stock JZS147 mags, with good tyres, lying around in about 2 months time that I could borrow for a month or so. No, I don't intend on doing "sick skids" or anything, just need something to roll out of the compliance workshop on. I'm hoping that I'll be able to throw some decent wheels on it straight up, but, worst case scenario I might sell off the mags that come with it for a small sum, to help get some decent ones. Essentially this means you might be without them for a month, month and a half max.

My part of the deal would be that there won't be any excessive tyre wear, I'll try and drive the car as little as possible 'till I get my own rubber on, and I'll give the donator $100 for their troubles. Yes, I'm happy to pick up the stocko's and drop them back when I'm finished too, as long as they're in the Brisbane / Gold Coast area.

Any questions, ask away, but if you've got a spare set of stocko's hanging around, would be a good chance to make some dosh off them for little or no effort.

I should be able to help you out, I am on the sunshine coast, would be happy to lend them to you, provided that there is not too much wear done to them, otherwise I would be asking for some more money to compensate.

there is however a small chance I will need them, so will let you know closer to the date.

I have a set of 16 inch soarer wheels, you can use them if they will do the job for you, they have brand new tyres, I intend on putting them on my aristo once the 19's I have need new rubber, because I think I will be too poor to replace them for a little while .
