I was going to argue that there *are* very slight benefits from intercooling an NA vehicle, purely by cooling the air a little more.

But then I noticed his IC isn't even plumbed in, it's just sitting there to look pretty.

in canberra, there's an r31 with a truck radiator that is prolly a foot hich, and almost as wide as the car.

also, there's an audi that has an IC dominating the front bar (cut abit to fit it), but you can see in plain view that there isnt even a silicone hose on either side of the thing.

In a recent issue of Hot4s, (i think it has a purple s8 Rx7 on the front) there is a NA Supra with a nice big Intercooler in the front bar. Im not sure what the real issue is: buying an intercooler for your NA car, or trying to make people think your car has forced induction Confused

Any slight advantage you might have of cooling your air would be lost in the increased effort to draw that air in.

Truck coolers are generally poor flowing, they have heaps of internal fins for greater cooling.

My vote for the cooler there is looks only, scare tactics if you will. Not unlike a massive monster tach on your V6 Commodore auto, or 1.6lt Mitsu Mirage.

I have seen people put a FMIC in to hold the front bar together (no not me) Maybe that is what they where doing. Or he is just trying to scare people. FMIC not connected adds 10%? Would not be good for the radiator as well.

there was a hot 4s issue a while back or HPI issue and it had a NA supra with a front mount and a exhaust and it made something like 160-170 rwkw.
