Rudd, Koyoto - possible impact on imports?

I was thinking about this last night - Considering that Australia jumping on the Kyoto bandwagon will mean that we have to meet carbon emission reduction targets and if I know govt the SEVS scheme may be in the firing line.

Anybody else considered this / have any thoughts about it?

i suppose it depends on what they propose to do in order to drop emmisions ... they must have a battle plan that would be made publicly aware surely??

I wouldn't be worried about driving a turbo charged EFI car when your old carbie'd cars are allowed to belch around.

The more of these cars that come over, the less old sh1tboxes we have floating around

you should try getting a 04 car passed emissions as it is. Almost impossible. Hence why no one has the M35 stagea 3.5 turbo passed yet to my knowledge. If they do any more restrictions, we're all screwed.
