so trying to get an alarm installed on my risto. but it seems most of the bigger car places wont touch my car, and when he went to ask "the guys out the back" they laughed at him and said they wont touch it!
so have any of you adel ppl had an alarm installed to your aristo yet? or can anyone recommend someone to install an alarm?!

Yeah wasn't bragging mate just letting you know that I did it and I don't fit alarms for a living
I posted some pics and info on here (I think, or was it on the UK site???), that detailed the wires I intercepted for the indicators, central locking, door switch and I think ignition cut..... _________________

i had mine installed by a place i get discount at cause i'm a member of MEA...
They are pretty good and have hooked me up with a few things now and then when i needed...
was that $300 installed? and how long did it take them ?
It was $300 installed - Check the link I supplied in my last post
Dropped the car off in the morning before work and picked it up after work - I could have picked it up a bit earlier tho.
I take back what I said earlier - the alarm is working as it should. The Tisonics guy told me that most modern alarms don't go off when you try to gain entry to a locked vehicle. The alarm is only tripped once the interior light is activated by opening a door/boot.
You can also add a microwave interior/exterior sensor for a further $150.
Tisonics doesn't deal with Aristos too often but since the technician installed mine yesterday he should have a good grip with the wiring on with yours if you decide to go with them.
I better check with insurance on this one... I've yet to get insurance but should be hooking it up this week sometime. JustCars is looking good on this one.
