Hi All,

first of all i have searched a bit on this and cant find anyone with this problem.

in the last week my aristo has started beeping when i turn the car off. its coming from inside the car somewhere, its so hard to pin point where the noise is coming from. its always the same sequence of beeps. nothing is flashing on the dash so it is very strange.

it kind of sounds although its coming from under the storage compartment behind the gear stick.

beep beep beep beep pause beep beep beep beep pause beep beep beep beep.

its starting to do my head in because i want to know if it is something i should be worrying about.

if needed i can record a video if it will help.

what are your thoughts?

thanks

Terry Confused

Any ABS/TRC warning lights up on your dash?

Is your drivers door open? Your integration relay might think the door is open so is beeping to inform you you forgot your key.

Does the sequence just keep on cycling over and over or does it stop after three cycles?

Got an aftermarket headunit? A few of mine in the past have made noise's such as the beeps your describing when the ignition is turned off. But the beeps only cycled for maybe 2-3 goes.

Thanks for all your input/time guys. But my sunroof was slightly tilted. Couldn't even tell from the outside of the car. I can't believe I've never turned the car off with the sunroof open before. Hehe
