Hey guys,

I've been sort of thinking of selling my car for awhile now, and almost too suddenly someone has popped up offering me 7k for it

It's a 93 series 1, just over 80k on the clock, completely stock except for aftermarket exhaust .

I'm just wondering am I stooging myself at this price? or do you think I'd be lucky to get more than this? I mean look if I can only get an extra 500 on that i'm not worried but if someone thinks I could get 1k or more than that I would seriously have to re-think

Cheers guys

well I dunno how different pics would make it..... paint is fine, usual few small dings on it, other than that looks fine. I know is a bit like asking about a piece of string, but I'm just asking about the general price range of one of these, I mean redbook reckons 8k minimum, lol!

If your Car is in Great condition with Some dings consistant with age and only 80,000km's on the clock but bone stock and engine and tranny are sweet I would say start at $9500 and let them work ya down.

If he came up to with an offer of 7000 id say hes willing to pay a bit more, I never start high when making offers. Try and squeeze a bit more out of him but dont be greddy cause he might just walk. Id say to him you want 8000 and them meet him half way if you really want to sell it.

Holy crapola thats a more then fair offer for a older Starlet, sell sell sell ! Tis a minta car but thats a baller offer !

Id go with a YRS and a few yrs older can be found very cheap if you look hard enough. YRX which is supposed to be the top of the range is very basic interior wise inside along with that god awful steering wheel and tacho display.

Not me im not in control of world events and the import market, face facts our cars arent worth what they used to be and never will be again.

Echo is valued at $3250 only because of hail damage otherwise would be closer to 8k.
