insurance is a bitch but how much?

I have been on a good thing with Lumley special vehicle $420pa with $500 excess but the ass lickers want to be more exclusive and insure hi end vices so $420 changed to $1270 this year.

I just turned 30 no driver infractions (just lucky) no claims and rating 1 for years.

In three years of ownership I know these cars are not cheep to keep on the road but Dam its adding up.

So Who do you use and How much?
