HI guys,
It seems it is quite rare to get cars with LSDs installed in them already. So I was wondering what options there are to solve this problem. Is there an LSD that can be taken from another car that fits (I heard soarer one fits..may be wrong), and ballpark figures for how much it would cost to buy one and how readily available they are?

Cheers

Soarer and Supra A series diffs are straight fit. Ratios vary but not a big deal. I have a Supra A01B in mine with 4.083 ratio. Prices range from $600 to $1000 for complete assembly.

T-2 type jzs161 diffs are straight fit too. Much smoother and responsive, I had found one for $800 but no one was interested.

I had the Supra 4.083 ratio and loved the way it peformed compared to the open 3.769.
