hi all,

somehow during the moving of house's i have 'missplaced' the key to my ladies wristy......the only one...

what would be the easiest way to fix the problem? easy to get a second hand barrel and key from a halfcut and swap over? or part with a ton of cash for a locksmith to try and work wonders?

cheers in advance

I hope you can get another key!

If not, I have had to break into the car (hammer through qtr glass) and then replaced the ignition that came with another key and all works well (this is not on aristo).

I have heard of places that may be able to take moulds of the inside of the ignition and make a key out of that, but never went that route last time as it was way cheaper getting a new ignition (for a holden, parts were like $40 and already had a spare qtr window).

Good Luck with it all..

Just don't give up looking for that key aswell, I find it's always the third time around you search you find it Very Happy

Lol the car is open... It's sitting in my garage with a blown turbo. We r in the middle of moving and the key has grown some legs! I think it might b easier to get a new ignition barrell with a key from a halfcut. Failing that I'll give a locksmith a try

The first place I checked was inside the car, the place is just a mess
due to the move. I'll have one last look in the morning, failing that I'll give a locksmith a try, unless I can get my hands on a barrell and key....in a single day in Adelaide I don't like my chances tho

Or if you know a auto elec, they'll start it for you, if that's what you need!
