Hey all

Been on here researching cars before I made my purchase, finally got my very own :-D

It is a 1992 2JZGTE 135000km

Silver with Sunroof

Completely stock on the outside (no bodykit, standard wheels, not even tinted)

Now to the better bits

HKS Hypermax LS coilovers
HKS EVC
GReddy Boost gauge
2.75" dump pipe, 3" to the rear
LSD
Mines ECU
K&N pod
Regassed Accumulator

Since I got it put a new stereo in.

JVC MP3, USB, Bluetooth with hands free
JVC Free air sub (removed air purifier)
400w RMS Clarion monoblock
4 x 100W RMS Jaycar powering stock speakers (surprisingly they are handling very well, but not playing any bass through them. Might have to see what they limits are then throw some focals in)

In the VERY near future I will find some Work Euroline KH in 19"
T15 tint
SAFC and have a play with the tune

Will do a proper intro when I get a chance

Sam

Hey guys, got my 'risto last week and I am loving it!

My names Lachlan, (everyone calls me Lacho) im 23, from Brisbane and do metal work for a living.

My First car was a V8 Ford NC Fairlane, followed by a 94 Ford Fairmont, then about 6 months ago I got a 2006 Ford Falcon SR, that was until a truck pulled in front of me and wrote it off. So I took it as a sign to get something completely different (and with slightly more power Very Happy )

I picked up a 93 Model, 68k on the clock, freshly imported and complianced, stock as a rock (which I was looking for) and everything in it still works fine! My only complaint so far is about the crappy stereo the previous owner in JDM put in it... but thats another story....(and easy fix!)

So I look forward to meeting everyone and and learning as much as I can from you all!

P.S I don't see many Brisbane cruises being organised in the cruise/meet section, how am I meant to meet you guys, you slackers! Razz

Hi all, well finally about time I put a least a quick post up here.

My name is Brett, I'm 31, married, live in Adelaide and work in the travel industry.

My car history is mixed starting from a Holden HJ Premier to a Gemini with a ground up hand rebuinld of suspension and motor by me along with many others including TA22 Celica, many a basic transport car and even a weird thing like a Hyudai S-Coupe GT Turbo.

Got my Aristo about 3 months ago after wanting one for some time. Biggest draw card was it ticked all the boxes; Practical, alluringly different looks way more modern then its age, 4 door practicality, the missus love it which it made it an easy sell and for me that incredible 2jz-gte motor. Overall its in near mint condition, silver, all leather 17" rims and only 61500Km when I got it.

The car is completely stock at the moment, currently upgrading the stereo as haven't had music since we got it and of course I have a wish list but we will leave that to dreamland for now.

Hey guys, name is Norman. I'm 19 years old and own a 3.0V aristo, the NT rules here mean I have had my full opens since 18 so im probably one of the younger risto drivers as down south you have the P plates restrictions. I have been reading here for about 2-3 months before buying my aristo and I must say this is the best car forum on the net, so much useful information on such an awesome car. Recently purchased a dark green 1995 S2 Aristo and love the car.

Sup fellas, my names Hayden, in 18 and im currently studying networking at tafeWA, still no fking idea what i want to do with my life atm, but obviously something with networking and systems admin etc

I drive a '97 VS Exec manual, pretty much your average bogan POS with 18's and in the weeds, but its my first car and despite it is slow, ugly and a headache to look at everyones allowed 1 mistake in their life right? Bawling

Anyway, ive been looking at a new car for a while now and the VS is starting to fall apart and after seeing forsaken1 (did i get it right? Embarassed ) i fell in love. i found out what the hell it was online and have been studying them like mad

So as soon as i can find a buyer for my POS and can get some cash together, hopefully i'll be parking my arse in an aristo Smile

Welcome mate,
Just a bit of advice...
Might be a good idea to buy a car on JZS147 forum as it has been owned by an enthusiast and well looked after and would have had alot of things already sorted out.
Like what was said, they are gettting to an age when things start to break ect....
They are very well built and are very ahead of their time when you compare them to a car from another country like the Falcon/Commodore.
G/L With it all mate.

Hi people, Andrew here. I'm turning 19 in january, and I drive a 2000 camry...

I currently do not have an Aristo, although I will be purchasing one soon, either a second hand one from WA for around 10-12k after i come back from my holiday from europe in febuary, or I will import one after I get off my P plates (late december 2010...)

I've loved japanese cars, mainly skylines when I was younger, although I'm not a fan of them anymore, as they're so damn common. I've grew fond of the japanese Toyotas from the 90s, especially for the Aristo, as it is a luxury, cheap car, with a large amount of power, and sleeperish :p

I've also seen that a couple of the WA boys are into trance music, after having a TE after party with Sean Tyas. Send us a PM, i'd like to know who you guys are haha! :p

Thanks, and see you all around somewhere, sometime!

Hey there,

I'm Roy and i'm living in Adelaide, 19 and studying automotive engineering at uni.
I've finally gotten myself into a position where an aristo is within my financial reach, and pending the sale of my commodore i'll be mounting a far superior beast.
Why an aristo? well, why not! Looking around the forum and the universal love that these cars receive gives me reason enough to know that this car will be a worthwhile upgrade, not to mention a more constructive place to waste my money!
Hopefully i'm not waiting too much longer and I can be proud to look in my driveway! Will be sure to post when I make my purchase.

Cheers, Roy
