After going on a cruise today i had a chance to test out my cars top speed, thinking it was ment to stop at at 180km/hr i was surprised that the needle kept going to where 220 would approximately be. The needle stopped when it hit the trip computer needle thing.
I thought all aristo's were speed limited, the only thing i could think of would be the fact that i had the traction control fuse pulled. Would this be the reson?
Funny there's a thread about this as mine definetly doesnt have speed cut either as found this strange when i got regod recently when i overtook a Rexxie at more then warp speed as mine definetly didnt cut and i was well over the 'cut limit' _________________

did 800km run in my aristo on the weekend and unfortunatly to say, i have a speed cut
that and the annoying cruise crontrol limiter will be coming out soon _________________
So just pulling the fuse would help for now? hmm.. how bout a switch wired to the circuit so you have TRC around town and in the wet.. and no limiter on the Autobahn..
How does one remove the cruise controls 110kmh limit ?(very silly imo) _________________
I've done that hack on the Soarer, it's a bit of a pig to get at the top bolt but if you make sure that you have a 1/4" socket set with an extension bar and a universal drive adaptor it's real easy. The actual soldering bit is dead easy as well.
