I tried ages ago to get one and still no luck.
I thought by now there would be some one over here making them.
Keep us posted how it all goes

Mine has just cracked, had a nasty stone flick up and put a little dent in the top of the glass whilst out spectating at Targa West. This then fractured after some cooling and heating (driving into work in morning was fine, come back to car parked under building at end of the day and 20cm crack had formed).

Got quoted $1200 for non-genuine and two weeks wait, $1400 for genuine and 4 weeks wait (via O'briens). Had to provide VIN, model and make numbers.

Missus then rang insurance, they put her through to Novus who said they have two in stock locally and its getting fitted this weekend.

Insurance is covering it all thankfully.

Nah, I've got a blue one with rays rims. Its off the road atm as I'm doing a single conversion. Once I'm done we should catch up.

I'm assuming you've got the green one with gold rims?

I have had a crack in the screen for maybe years now.. Very Happy
I have tried getting a 2nd hand one before and after no luck I just gave up, but i am sick to death of having to look at this dam tree of a crack everytime I get into the car..even if that's only once every few weeks.(Wife's car)

Anyways long story went to instant windscreen for quote today...$650+
Not liking that price too much rang novus...after the regular whats an aristo....$340 >Getting installed on Monday Eeek Dance

I'm in Brisbane so if you need one he said they a few in stock, might not be at that store but they have some....

Well Novus came out on Saturday morning and replaced mine.

The guy was a champ, had 20 years experience and was ripping into it straight off the bat (knew exactly what he was doing), took him about 1.5hrs to complete (then another hour for the bonding agent to dry before it could be driven).

Top seal was replaced (factory one is plastic and warps on removal, the replacement is rubber) and he said the hardest part of the job was getting the original bonding agent off (had to heat it and scrape it).

This windscreen also has the top 10% tint on it as well (same as the original).

Also got my windscreen wipers replaced at the same time (thought what the hell - they needed doing), these were a prick for him as the bolts were a little seized but he got it all sorted, set them up nicely too. He re-adhered the rego sticker as well.

The guy even fixed my inner guard liner that had been warped due to my wide ass rims/tyres scrubbing it - this guy was awesome, highly recommended.

Ive now got a crack/chip free windscreen, can't believe how much better it is (my windscreen always had a nasty stone chip in the centre that had been previously filled and was bloody annoying).

my windscreen got done on friday, its good the crack is gone but workman ship is rather shitty, one of the seals isnt sitting properly, they left my passanger seat tilted all the way back and for sum reason flicked my true twinturbo switch (not suppose to start it on this mode), so wen i took off into traffic i had no go until 3grand. Confused
