Sending cars interstate

A family friend wants to send a car from here (Perth) to Queensland I think, or the other way around, i'm not entirely sure - didn't catch the full story as to Why.

Can anyone recommend the better transfer companies/methods to me? I've never done it and never thought I'd need to so didn't pay attention when people talk about it. I believe it drives fine for all purposes it will need.

Driving it is best. I've seen several cases where on long haul static transfers the wheel bearings end up brinnelling because the shit roads / rail network means that the car is stationary while taking a pummelling and the grease layer in the bearings breaks down. no grease circulating and bang bang bang over every pothole etc.

You end up with damage to the hard facing on the race and rollers on one point and the bearing quickly fails when driven thereafter.

If wheel bearings are cheap, do it. if not don't. Sorry to be a little out there with the response but it happens pretty often.

my front wheel bearing was rooted when it arrived from japan,
a bit premature i think....
