hey guys picked up my new car on thursday its a 95, 2jzgte powered aristo, has mild mods, coilovers, exhaust, aftermarket sidemount intercooler, oilcooler, pod, 18's, blitz boost controller (currently off as its already making 1 bar), and i hav a few dumb questions for ya.

1. my front tyres hav scrubbed out really bad on the inside is there anything the tyres normally scrub against?

2. in the boot near the top of the struts theres 2 electrical plugs, what do these plug into? electronic suspention that used to be there? coz one of them sounds like its shorting out or sumthing, is there a switch that would control it if it was there?

3. the degogger for the mirrors, wat does it actually do, makes a strange sound when you push the button

4. im currently running 1 bar of boost, is this safe? can i turn on the boost controller and wind in some more or is that about the safe limit

5. were can i get a lsd and what sorta price would i be looking at?

im sure ill find more stuff i wana know but that will do for now

Cheers Shane

2) Electronic struts, got more firm when auto is in power mode, your car must have aftermarket suspension.

3) Piezo shakes the drops off the mirror

4) That figure is fine, however with tuning it isn't so much the boost level but more so that the rest of the tune is okay, but I doubt you'd have issues near that, if you want more you will need to do something to get around the boost cut

5) See if anybody has one on here for sale, if you can't find one locally then www.importmonster.com.au

1. The ground..... camber is out due to coilies i would say.
2. ECT button, it used to connect to the stock suspension. Makes damper harder.
3. It shakes off the water Razz
4. 1 bar is safe for overall. Dont go too much more than that 18psi max on stocka turbz
5. LSD, can be found here. Have a look in the car part section. Price will vary though. ~500 i would say.

2 - Suspension - Stock suspension would tighten up when placed in power mode.

3 - Sonic Mirrors - The mirrors vibrate to dislodge ice.

4 - More than safe. Should be ok upto 1.4bar without a dyno tune

5 - Bout $800 for a torsen LSD.

just remember if your winding your boost there is no point without tune, you will feel like its faster, but just wait... the day you get it off the dyno its a whole other level

wheels are 18's with 235/40/18 tyres up front and 265/35/18 on the rear, no idea on offset but sit pritty flush with the guard cant see anything it would rub on...

more questions the fog lights, mine dont seem to work, how do i get to them to see if they hav globes? and the headlights kinda suck how can i make them better?

Fog lights - some compliance places cut them, take the bar off and re-wire them if thats the case.

Headlights sucking - check the trader section for HID lights, his kits are very good, massive improvement.

Wheels look tuff.

Also, just noticed, this is the most informative I think we have ever been, without being jerks. Someone better fix the trend, we might get a reputation for being nice.

All as far as I am aware. I ended up just cutting my shocker plugs when I fitted my Bilsteins.
