Hey gang,
All things going well I will be the owner of a 92 black aristo in a couple of weeks.

I have a mechanical background.

Prefer to be unknown and a winner, then known and looser (hence aristo).

Love your work with this site and the amount of usefull info can't wait to put it to use.

Cheers

Moot

Hey all, just picked up a black '92 aristo with a 2JZ, already has the usual suspension, rear mufflers, stereo. Should be getting some nice vip rims and a new exhaust system soon. Will see how she goes. I'm a rotorhead normally but the aristo should make a good daily. My other car is a '78 JDM S1 RX-7 (slowly building it up for track use). Here's a couple of pics:

hey all,

I'm new on these forums,

I'm 24, have been into and around cars since i was 16,

have owned a 4AGTE ke35 corolla, a ford XR6T and I currently own an almost stock ke35
and a 07 Polo TDI daily which gets me about 800kms from $50 worth of diesel Razz

and my wife drives a Mx83 cressida.

Basically i joined this forum because i plan to buy an ARISTO once I'm 25 when the insurance costs wont break the bank,

I work for Shell at the Clyde Refinery in Sydney and have dual trade qualifications, electrical and instrumentation...

thanks for posting all the great information on this site, these forums a great place for meeting fellow enthusiasts and learning about the cars that we love!!!

Thanks
James

Welcome, insurance isn't that bad on Aristo's, cheap for me anyways. And I don't have a great record.

Welcome James Smile

with the current market you may be able to pick up a great Aristo at a bargain price, which may actually work out better even with higher insurance costs for a year.
but then again, who know if the market will pick up in a year's time... Eeek Dance

welcome james

like everyone else has said, insureance on an aristo is not particularly bad at all. i was 21 when i bought mine / paid insurance, and with all mods noted full comp was only $1100ish, with a $400 plus $400 under 25 excess IIRC.

get into one Very Happy

hey guys,

yeah i'd really love to get one "yesterday" but i am buying a house first,

yeah the prices atm for awesome condition aristo's is criminal, there are a few in the for sale section i would buy without a 2nd thought..

this is my current ke35, yes they are the coupe,

and this is my old and gone 4AGTE ke35,

sorry for the sizes, big and little...

as far as buying an aristo goes I have to sell the polo and prob the corolla as well first, so if anyone is interested let me know Very Happy

Thanks
James

G'day everyone,

My name is Ryan, but everyone calls me Spud.....

I am originally from The Shire (Cronulla, NSW) but have been living in Vancouver, Canada for the last 3 years, and will be staying indefinitely.

I just picked up a 92 Aristo TT for 5,000 bucks.....fucking steal. Ill post some pics as soon as I clean her. Here is the link to the FS ad with pics the seller took.

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/cto/1035020455.html

My other car here is a 92 240sx (180sx) with a blacktop SR20 swap.

I am new to the 2JZ world, and hope you fellas (and ladies) can help me out in sourcing some sweet shit for my new ride.....maybe I can even help you guys, as the import scene her is fucking huge, and prices are ridiculously CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!

Hope to get amongst it.

Cheers,

SPUd
