currently got m self a lil n16 pulsar, but currently looking around for an aristo that meets my standard, coz im picky with my cars n especially with import. Iv been brought up in a life of cars and modification, built a 301kw skyline, restored a rx3, 12.3 sec vl and a animal ke50 corolla with a sr20 pulling 289kw@wheels, all with my brother. So now is my turn to build a beast aristo, fallen in love with the car, so dam sexy n got so much balls. My final goal is for the aristo to pull something around the 600hp mark, total sleeper ( as much possible) and to be a everyday driver.
well thats all from me, but im a nice guy, and ull be hearing alot from me with stupid questions finding out all the tricks to modding my aristo because u guys have been there n done it.

well hope to hear from u all n chat about aristo SmileSmile
NOVO

Welcome

Yay, more Sydney owners are coming on board. We have only a hand full that frequent these forums.

Whats your budget for a Aristo?

Cheers

Hi I am prabs, 30 years old, working in a hotel in melbourne, single at the moment, once I was living in Japan for 4 years, worked as a chef (japanese foods)..where you could see mad street driving on sunday nights .. Very Happy
I studied little bit about car performencing, through my japanese friend.. who had car sales yard over in chiba(japan) he had most of the VIP style cars like (crown majesta, nissan cima, aristos and few of the skylines, supras and Rx 7 (these cars were very heavily modified as well as very neat outer and inner looks..and F...n expensive..

My first car was 1982 holden camira wagon( 16 inch alloys, muffler) that was in 1998
Daewoo 1.5i ( alloys, muffler,with good sounds set up ) -1999
Skyline R33( Black) 1995- ( 170kw at 12psi)
Toyota Supra ( Black) 1993 - ( 225 kw) twin turbo
Toyota Aristo (Black) 1996 - ( 236kw) lowerd tein cs sus, 18inch wheels ( F9.5) (R10.5), blitz Nur spec single muffler, jvc 2din dvd player, focal splits F&R, alpine amlifiers with 10inch Eclipse sub. few more updations on the way..

Cheers guys lucky to be a owner of aristo

hey I'm lummox and i'm 29. i work on the council as a weed sprayer. it sux but hey you gotta do something for munnies. I joined this site because I just purchased a 1994 aristo. i can't wait for it to get here!

previous rides include:

1. 1980 ford escort 13in cheviots painted chev orange and a pi$$ed off kent engine with a side draught weber hanging off it. and a rally bodykit. (still own, use for motokhana.clip on youtube)
2. 1980 XD Falcon 351 cleveland bucket owned for about 3 months
3. 1996 ef falcon ...
4. 2003 XR6 turbo silhouette on 19's lost licence in it and sold for nothing
5. 1977 Ford LTD silver monarch lowrider bagged and 20in wires. Spent too much coin on this one but I still love it. (BEST CAR I OWNED)
6. 1992 Toyota Camry automatic station wagon with subwoofer and TV/DVD, it had 356,000km on it when i sold it and its still going strong! (good car...made me see the light)

There is definitely a theme going there on my earlier cars. Yes I am a bit of a ford nut, but I do appreciate anything that is tough or tidy...unless its a commodore.

current ride is a 1991 holden apollo, but I don't like it as much as the camry cos this one is carb Sad

I should take delivery of my aristo around this time next week. I bought it off ebay, which I think is a fairly big risk buying a car unseen. But we'll see what happens. I bought this car because I am hoping it will be a happy medium between luxury, performance and reliabilty. I don't really like lairy sports cars. I would prefer something subtle with arseloads of grunt.
I am a member of a local forum called streetmodified.com.au its pretty small but thats ok.

thanks for the site.

Buenos Dias, my name is Tom, my friends call me Badman, most people just call me idiot.
Been into cars for as long as i can remember, like my dirtbikes, choppers, guns, photography, ps3, anything WW2 related, breasts, bundy, golf, breasts and bundy. Not half as funny as i think i am.
30yrs old, divorced, recently single...again... (leads one to ponder the question "why"... lol)
I work as a site manager for a trucking and logistics company in Adelaide, heading up the steel transport division.
Just recently converted to pimp-class cars, after having a schmick little Black R34 GTT skyline "borrowed" from me... believe there might be something to this sleeper-cruiser twin turbo idea, and am very chuffed with my new baby...got a couple little mods done already, with a FMIC and a modded auto in the pipeline..
Current toys include the Aristo, 91 model TT, black, shiny, dumped on its ass with big shiny 20"s on it... STAF KA plates...
then theres my stable of bikes.. 05 Honda Black widow, with a few custom bits here and there... very loud, you'll hear me coming two weeks before i get there... then theres an 06 yamaha YZ450-F, 99 Yamaha YZ-400F, 08 Atomik Blitz 250, lil 250 quad, China 250 KTM250SX-F copy, 140 monster frame china pitbike, couple of 125 china pitbikes, a 50cc mini chopper and a 110 minichopper... need me a shed...
past taxis include: (in chronological order...)
76 HX holden ute
78 HZ Panno... (ex-piggy wagon, heaps of GTS options, power everything and a mild 253 with a tricky trimatic)
78 HZ ute... "Boonta"... ex-show ute, real wild 253, utter, utter sled, real slick machine til i burnt it to the ground... that old girl is still a legend in rural SA... may her memory live on)
73 HQ one-tonner six (statesman parts all through it... very VIP for a tonner)
62 EK holden. Black. Low. 192ci six. 57 imitation chromework and paint-outs. 17000miles on the clock, original. Defected for "brakes", turned into a couch by a stoned apprentice at wrecking yard. apprentice fired for destruction of australiana.
79 Datto 280ZX... immaculate resto job (hence the Jap import love affair, still going strong)
(92 Hyundai Sonata and 79 Ford XD sedan. tow cars. less said about them, the better)
93 R33 GTS-T Skyline. 250rwkw. owed me $35k. Fast. Scary fast and peaky as a bitch. awesome fun, quickest tow car i've had.
98 R34 GTT Skyline. Black. Shiny with big chromies. Followed the dream. great fun til someone else followed the dream with some tools and a tow truck. $600 alarm system all for nought...

insurance paid out, so here i am. Big fuck off pimplimo, few tweaks, and number plates that confuse everyone.... nice.... the skylines the limit. i mean sky. now where are my spanners?....

Welcome Tom, you should move to WA - home of the black Aristos Wink

You obviously fell in love with VIP pimp mobils just like many of us here.... It's a nice feeling when you turn up to a place and everyone's jaws fall when they try and figure out what it is. instead of your normal..."Hey..cool skyline or check out that hot silvia or wrx...is that an sti or what?" In our case, it's more WTFFFF???!?!?!?!?!?!?!? IS THAT FBI OR WHAT???!?!?

true true, but i'd like it if most of the people asking about my car, would stop saying "do you mind if we take a look at it for drugs/guns/pimps/prostitutes/dead bodies/people wearing white singlets, thongs and black adidas tracksuit pants with bad poodle mullets?...
have thus far only had one person pick it for what it is... and even then was a guess yelled from a pissblind drunk pub patron who had just been ejected from the Crown in Victor harbour... mad props to him for seeing through his drunken haze well enough to pick a black aristo in the dark...
"maaaayte, is that an rrristo??? do a burnoooout....Hic!"
"No".
"aaah, ya weak poofter!"...
At which stage the cop car behind me pulled into the pub car park....
idiot...
