Hey guys cheers for the help, im realy stuck here. Im pretty sure there is no constant power as it hold memory by way of flash. otherwise everytime you diconnected your battery for something you would need to get it re tuned. _________________

Mate im spewing, I took it to the tuning shop today and have now run into all sorts of problem's.
Fuel Reg, Neo's broke.
I bit the bullet and bought a brand new Neo and fuel reg and dropped them off at the shop, all they will have to do is plug the new Neo in. _________________

i agree with him though, shouldnt it burn onto its memory? i had a SAFC2 in my S13 and car was in paint shop for months then my garage for 2 more and all with d/c battery, original died and i replaced it, then another one died, and when i got it all hooked back up and running the SAFC2 was fine (car wouldnt run without it!). So if he had it tuned shouldnt it burn on and stay ? so even if you turn car off and it has switched 12V and loses power, its the equivalent of the battery dying or being d/c the thing should still have it's tune on it..
