Howdy all.

Most of us at some stage have had a need for proper wiring diagrams for our Aristo. Currently the only ones available are in Japanese.

Some years ago Jeff Harper, a well known player in the Soarer community had the JDM 30 series Soarer wiring diagrams translated into english, if you switched to an Aristo from a Soarer then you probably have heard of Jeff & seen / used the manuals.

Jeff is wanting to gauge interest in translating the JDM Aristo wiring diagrams into English. As there is a fair bit of time (thus cost) involved in this, he will only go ahead if there is a reasonable about of interest.

Jeff is looking at selling them for $50. If you would be keen on buying one, could you express your interest here? Having this done would be excellent for the Aristo community and as such we wont support anybody who plans on buying 1 and then coping it for free for your mates Smile

Please only reply if you are willing to buy one, should they go ahead Smile

Hrmm.. Although I would find them incredibly useful, I'm a poor ass student. And i've always been able to cope with using a friend who can read chinese chars (many are very similar), plus a bit of intuition and some online translators.
So i'll have to give it a miss thanks.

Hi guys,

Thanks Aristo.

We are looking for expressions of interest. I have the source material ready to go, but it takes about 500+/- hours to translate the whole deal.

The risk for me is I could do it and someone might torrent it within seconds!!

However, I have to have faith in the Aristo community and take this risk.

So, please let me know.

Oh, it's free postage and I would really like PayPal if possibel please.

Jeff

Hi, well, 20 people worldwide would do it.

That equates to $2 per hour, about right for a love job like this!

Aristo asked the pommies as well, so we might get lucky!

The source material is genuine wiring diagrams from Japan, as per the Soarer version I did.

500 hours is how long it takes. So 500 hours divided by 24 hours is 20.83 days, non stop.

Can we put you down for 1??
