Hello all car fans,i was curious if any1 has 20 x 8.5 on the frt and 20 x 10 on the rear off there aristo and if so do you have any photos and what size tyres are you running

You will need to consider offsets, camber, ride height and whether or not the guards are rolled.

20s will go on an aristo, it just depends on what rims they are.

yeh its basically all offset. the guards can swallow the 20s depending on ride height and unless you're slammed you should be right. but its the offset that determines things moreso. if you go conservative on offset you can run a reasonable tyre, and probably be okay depending on camber. then if you want an aggressive look, go more aggressive on offset, couple of degrees of negative camber, and run a lower profile mroe stretched tyre. you can probably get away with 35 series conservatively, or if you go aggressive most guys drop to 30 series with some stretch..

well thats the wheel size and the tyres sizes are 235/30/20 up front and 275/30/20 on the rear

i run 245 on 20x8.5 front and 285 on 20x10" rear on pretty easy aswell

myn is super super stock height, i do have coilovers but havnt lowered atm.

if ur rims are anything like FIRSTROUND's offset wise, youll be fine. because as you can see they will tuck under a long way if he were to lower the car more, and thus clear easily.

for the life of me i can rememeber what offset aye its pretty dum i think 35p front and around 30p rear i did post up somewhere previous the full stats.... this use to be my thing dude! i was the rim master.... once apon a time id be selling like 5 sets a day... oh how the mighty have fallen LOLz

If a car is lowered will it limit your options for putting 20's on or does it have no impact?

as long as your offset is correct it wouldnt matter if u had 15 or 20's they should be the same overall rolling diameter

morph31 - it can, it depends on offset and tyre choice, and also how low you are. If you are moderately lowered it shouldnt be a problem provided you have low profile tyres.

the only real issue is up front, if you go 20s and go very low it can scrub on the guards and things when turning. to combat this people go lower profile and/or stretched tyres. but this is only when you have aggressive offsets combined with being real low.

hey all,guess what,i got my 20 x 8.5 up front with 235/30/20 and 20 x 10 on rear with 275/30/20 today and fitted them up.The wheels are zenetti kaotik chrome,the same style as my old 19,s but i wanted to go to 20,s.the front was perfect and the rear fit almost perfect.I had to pull off the strip off the back wheel arches and sand off 3mm of lip to get the tyres to clear perfecty.Or the other way would be to put 265 on the rear but i need traction,and for height wise my car sits at 107mm to the chassis so its pretty low.

morph31 - yeh theyd recommend something based on stock offset. i'm a hard-ass offset guy, so generaly speaking theyll offer you something weak / fairly sunken i.e. not very flush with the edge of the guard. the upside is, you can probably run fairly chunky common-sized tyres and clear everything guard wise without any mods needed (such as rolling or the like). they will probably give you something like FIRSTROUND has, which at that hieght and with largish tyres looks okay.

the only other way to do it is to do your own measurements or research on other forums such as Clublexus.com or Vipstylecars.com and see what other people are running and what you like the look of. bearing in mind most of those more aggressive setups are technically illegal haha but then i think 20s are too...

nice work rhetto, what camber are you running? you may have gotten away with adjusting camber out back but then youd chew your 285s out a little quicker, depending on toe.

I run 20x8.5 all round 235 up front and 245 up back my car is slammed 105mm off ground and it scrubs a little i need to raise it a bit there is a pic on my profile section
