New here (1st post). Names Daniel Married with two kids and i'm 23
Im a stay at home dad in the day and ninja by night. No really I go to work all night and lift heavy things all night long and I regularly hallucinate cause the job is that interesting.
Love the aristo, been hooked ever since I seen them in HPI. I am the current owner of a 96 TT Aristo. perfect family car IMHO.
Oh and Im a major fan of SLEEPERS and rare cars. So I love confusing the hell out of people (and putting some to shame).
Current Rides - R32 Gtst (rb25det), R33 gtst (modified), Aristo (stock), Suzuki Across GSX250F (fuel saver).
The Aristo is the best Price Vs Quality car Ive ever had.
My entire family is jap import crazy all owning very quick and neat cars. They love the aristo.
Im in west sydney and look forward to going on some cruises with the sydney crew.

Gday everyone,
My names Dave and i recently bought an Aristo on the 16th of Dec, Silver 92, 63,000 on the clock same mods it had when it left the factory except for wheels. Im 19, a student and work at kmart. previous cars where TT Z32 300zx and a 60 series landcruiser. loved them both for different reasons but have had my eye on an aristo for quite some time.
So far its been great im amazed every time i drive it by the little extra bits i didnt pick up on in the dealership gotta love the toyotas
Had a bit of a bad experience the second day i had it, went to wind the back window down, went a small way then stopped then made a bad noice and the window slumped down. so here i was with a window stuck down and thats how i found you guys. Went to google typed in aristo forum and found a very helpful tutorial on how to remove the door trim so got stuck into it, unfortunately the window was well past my mechanical skills lol the cable had busted out the back of the motor and the pulley at the top of the door had snapped off so after i put the cable back in it still wouldnt stay up... oh well give the dealer a call, hes on holidays for the next few weeks lol bugger. Never mind itl be right, theres loads of good info on how to fix up little things like that on here.
So anyway nice to meet you all an i hope i stay with this croud for as long as i can
cheers

Welcome champ.
If you end up needing a new window reg I'm sure someone can sort u out.
do you think thats what it will be? i looked up the top of the window and i found a little white plastic wheel which had snapped off so the cable wouldnt stay tight and keep the window up. decided then it was gonna be too much of a stuff around to fix then and there. Any help would be greatly appreciated

New 1992 Aristo Project
Hey i just wanted to join up as im thinking about getting an Aristo or something else much more usable than my current car and this seems to be a great resource to learn more about them.
Im 35 and from Wollongong.
Anyways the Aristos seem to be as cheap as chips and great value for what you get.
Other cars im considering are the Legnum or Chaser or an EVO7 GTA.
Mainly will be my everyday car that does the run to work and back (26ks each way of freeway)
and general usage but still needs to have some stick.
I have pretty much decided to get an Auto as i drive trucks for a living and after years of
shuffling through an 18 speed road ranger im getting lazy and my last few cars have been manuals as well.
I like the looks of the Chaser better than the Aristo but they are dearer and the EVO GT-A will outhandle
them both whilst still being practical and The Legnum i like the look of and are super cheap as
well but the TT V6 is a bit of an unknown quantity where the 1J, 2J or 4G63 all have excellent
reputations and a solid base for modifications.
I still am not sure which way to go.

Welcome,
You definitely have a nice line up to choose from (and good taste ).
I like the rarity of the aristo and chaser's. Aristo is cheaper then a chaser, hence why I have an aristo and I love it. There all great cars to be honest so good luck choosing one.
Cheers

hey all, Names Novo, from Sydney, 20, fuken baby lol
currently got m self a lil n16 pulsar, but currently looking around for an aristo that meets my standard, coz im picky with my cars n especially with import. Iv been brought up in a life of cars and modification, built a 301kw skyline, restored a rx3, 12.3 sec vl and a animal ke50 corolla with a sr20 pulling 289kw@wheels, all with my brother. So now is my turn to build a beast aristo, fallen in love with the car, so dam sexy n got so much balls. My final goal is for the aristo to pull something around the 600hp mark, total sleeper ( as much possible) and to be a everyday driver.
well thats all from me, but im a nice guy, and ull be hearing alot from me with stupid questions finding out all the tricks to modding my aristo because u guys have been there n done it.
well hope to hear from u all n chat about aristo
