Once again big thanks to Jamie, got my new FMIC all installed and car feels much more responsive.
The whole job would have taken me a full day, but Jamie went to work and with his skills we smashed it out in 3 hours.

We did a tranceplant from his car to mine, and everything went really smooth. Bring on the mods Very Happy

Jamie is the FMIC king (in WA anyway), helped me with mine as well - would have been struggling without him Smile

No worries Pete as team effort mate as install went extremely well after completing so many ive got them down pat so to speak Very Happy

Gabor: you know you're welcome anytime dude.....

Jo: should be good to go around that time hopefully as just need some extra piping as will organise that very soon.

Marc: wrong FMIC as this is off my current car as Pete asked me out of the blue and i said bugger it time for a FMIC install as was only playing Call of Duty 4 Very Happy

Skeez: be prepared to trim alot off with the KKR as they sit directly in the middle of the bar but will do more then the job reuired as still dying to install a Greddy kit !

Anycase here of the pics of my old install as procedures / fitment are identical to Pets current car.

Have now fitted / completed 7 ( & soon to be 8 ) Aristo FMIC installs and have to say have enjoyed everyone of them Very Happy

(2) 600 x 230 x 76 2.5' inlet / outlets
(3) 600 x 300 x 76 2.5' inlet / outlets
(1) 600 x 300 x 76 3.0' inlet / outlets
(2) 600 x 300 x 100 3.0' inlet / outlets

Next shots are of the 600 x 300 install.

I like my clamps as can never have enough !

In the next two pics you can see where ive flushmounted the i/cooler and trimmed the bar to get it raised as high as possible as perfect clearance down below as this baby wont hit kerbs / scrape speedbumps.

Finished product as fits sweet as.

Jamie, can you remember what bends and how many etc were needed? that way i can have everything sitting at home rather than using the missus car to go get more bends etc
Cheers,
Marc

Hey Marc, i used (3) 90 degree bends & got my bro to weld the drivers side up as one whole pipe as will never blow off Smile Just went to an exhaust shop and got some 2.5" mild steel pipe and exhaust dude pipe bended to my specs (which was drawn on chalk on the floor) as allup set me back about $50 and the complete install with clamps / joiners / i/cooler set me back just under $350 Very Happy

From the inlet manifold i also used a long piece with a 90 degree bend at the end to and held it onto the rubber downpiece with 3 clamps. Might not be the most prettiest but works like a charm.

We should really have a FMIC install tutorial session with Professor Jamie one day Smile

Before long, you'll never find another Aristo without a FMIC in WA...

Mandrel bends not big enough and way to exxy as Jamie's bargain priced press bent mild steel piping works just as good as flows very nicely for the twin setup without an issue.

Just made some more up today and had them all welded perfectly by my bro Very Happy

Braden, by no means am i custom fabricator at all as just drew on chalk on the ground at the exhaust shop the sizes and bends i wanted as has snowballed from there as this is my 3rd set ive had made up all for the measly sum of under / around $50 Very Happy

Ok from the top the welded twin 90 degree bends are 80cms in length / diameter and measure exactly 40cms from end to end of the piping.

The inlet pipe measures 68cms in length / diameter as all bends are pipe bent and mild steel / 2.5"
