Paid $6k NZD about 3 years ago for my 91 Aristo. Was completely factory at the time except for 18" ROH Drift R mags. 159000kms. Was a mean bargain, especially back then! Spent probably $6k all up on it, replaced all the front engine seals, FMIC, 3" exhaust, AVCR, new plugs, some new pipes and fittings for hydraulic fan setup as started to leak badly, all new suspension bushings (most expensive bit of all!) etc and just recently spent $1k on a new stereo for it.

I got mine for $14500 - Silver 1992 2jz-gte about a year ago.
The main mods were fmi, pod and rims.
The only major mod I have added to the car is an exhaust.

If I was to sell now I would probably ask for around $12000-$13000 although probably have to drop to $11000. Prices have only one way to go I rkn and that is down. I predict that average prices will be surprisingly lower in a few more years, especially with re-structuring of the car market towards more environmentally friendly cars (I got pulled over the other day for an emission test - the guy said it was only fair, I thought that was pretty good I was expecting worse).

I read someone say that aristo's are in the enthusiasts market and I agree. <--- SMALL MARKET

Tomo did you do a vcheck on that car?

Did you smack the prick upside the head and tell him you were taking your business elsewhere?

I'm surprised they offered that much. Seems like the deal is to offer a quarter of the market value.

I dont personally know anybody who has ever gone through a trade-in with any vehicle whatsoever. It, like, doesnt make sense?
