So I'm moving to Adelaide in a couple of weeks and I just want to know what the inspection check for an interstate car like? Does the car need to be completely stock? Or is it just a roadworthy style check? What about an intercooler or boost controller? Will they need to be removed?

I bought a car from Vic to here. The test was pretty simple, basic look around, check all the numbers. It was a BMW 535is, so no turbo stuff for them to check. Car was built low, would have never cleared the 100mm block, but they didn't do anything like that. Checked my tint, told me it was illegal, then past it anyway. I don't think it's a harsh defect style trip to Regency, but then again, they might hate on Japanese stuff.

| You can also head down to a place next to the Sturt Police Station and they can change it over for you there, And they pretty much just go over the usuals like engine numbers and so forth. Not too sure when this place is open, but pretty sure its like 2 times a week or something, but its not as harsh!! |

as stated goto sturt 100%
just make sure there are no major visual defects, i've had a few mates go through, they just look around the car, numbers etc, make sure all your lights and horn works, make sure its not too low etc.
only thing they picked on him for was front height
