Very sexy mate...going with the red centres or the silver?

I under stand most measurements on Rims but I have never under stood the reference to Disk Confused

Diameter, yeah, Offset, yeah, Width, yeah, PCD, yeah........disk NFI Very Happy

I've never been too big on anything outside the realm of making power and getting it to the ground so I haven't spent a lot of time researching rims stuff.

Care to teach me? Smile

disc=brake clearance.
example is mine is low disk with stock brakes and i have 2mm clearance between the rim and caliper lol
so low disk = flatter so more dish
high disk = cureved centre rather then dead flat which gives you the impression of 'fake dish'

ant hot as mate, what size tyres yyou gonna run?

JayVee - as Slain said, the lower the disc then the further sunken in to the rim the face of the wheel is. this acheives more dish for a given width + offset along with a more concave face on the rim (Depending on design). Since my car has small brakes (i think 2 pots front 1 pot rear or something) i can go O Disk (lowest disc Work makes) without worrying about hitting my calipers. Different companies have diferent names for theirs though e.g. Work have R (big brake clearance), N (normal clearance) and O (deep dish) and then you have other companies who have like A B C or Low Med High etc.

btw i think i will go the red caps, they arent really bright red or anything they are more a deep red similar to my car in the shade. so ill probably place them both on there once the rims are on the car and see which i like before clipping them all in!

Slain - tyres are doing my head in a little because im trying to get as close as i can to the stock load rating (94). i want 225/35 front and 245/35 rear as that seems to be the norm. But 225/35 are all only load rated to about 88 whereas 235/35 are 91 and 245/35 are 93. I would prefer to go with the 235/35 if it will fit clearance wise...

sounds good but yeah i owuld be worried bout the load rating.
Have you looked at running different profile front and rear? i know it sounds strange but this is how i do it on my car.
I have 40 on the front and 35 on the rear, my fronts are stretched a lot more than the rear and with the stretch the profile size is actually the same.
Look into tyre costs as well before deciding mate, i wanted to drop down to 255/35 on the ass with a crap load of stretch but only a couple of companies make them and it was 700 a tyre Sad

you should be able to get away with less stretch on the ass too with minor gaurd mods, in mine i have rolled them using a standard gaurd roller and die grinded the lip away completly and yes mine still hang out but i really should go widebody, but that = too much cop attention.

Can supply some photos if you want

yeah i did think of different profiles front to rear but i think i will need 35s up front. even saying that, if i went to a 40 i would probably go 225/40 but i checked that on a rolling diameter calculator and 225/40 is taller than 235/35. 225/40 is 93 though rather than 91. but i think clearance will be the issue.

as for costs, im looking at Nankangs and Nexens at the moment so theyre both pretty cheap.

If you're looking in that price range then the Kuhmo KU31's are great.

^ how do KU31s run? like are they narrow, normal or wide for their given width? cause i know both nankang and nexen are narrow so that means theyre better stretching Wink look mroe aggressive without going too far on the stretch.

Anyway the rears are here, collected them today!

flash on the camera haha

and my fave (they just look tough in this shot i reckon)
