G'day all,

My name is Joshua, and I'm a 25 yr old working in the mines up the top end. I live in Radelaide SA when I'm not slaving it up here in the heat. I own a 95 Aristo crystal white/grey two tone w/ 19's, currently undergoing a few renovations i.e. new single setup (input on a good single choice wanted, and the LED upgrade has inspired me). I'll upload pix when i can. Can sometimes be found at Smooth Garage or cruzing back and fourth to Kangarilla. so if you see me give us a wave.

Past car lineup is pretty drab.

88 hyundi senata
88 Nissan Skyline r31
88 Nissan Cefiro - Currently undergoing a sexchange *insert 1JZ genitalia*
95 Toyota Aristo

*edit + pix*

Welcome Joshua and Brett

Enjoy Smile

Joshua, check out the HP leaderboard in the performance section for ideas on a single setup. A few members have gone along different routes and you can see the results.

Hi guys. I missed the intro thread and made a post in the members rides first by mistake so I thought I'd say hello in here too.

I'm Dave and the wife is Julie and we hail from the Barossa region with myself working in the wine industry.

I recently picked up our Aristo as a replacement for the wifes car at a price too good to pass up even though we weren't really ready to get another car.

She's a Dec '94 TT in reasonable condition although in need of a few fixes here and there.

All standard apart from a set of Tein CS coilovers which have dramatically improved the handling without sacrifice to the ride quality.

Just added a Fleabay TV / Sat Nav and Amp to the already molested sound system for a quick improvement but still needs the speakers addressing.

Anyway here she is...

(More pics in the members section)

And here's a pic of our current other money pit...

We've also got an 06 Forester XT and a '39 Vauxhall Hot Rod (needs a 2J) project in the shed so a fair variety.

Past rides are numerous but the list includes;

Approx 12 Mk1 Cortina's (3xGT's)

Approx 6 Mk2 Cortina's (1xGT)

2 Anglias

3 FB / EK Holdens

LJ coupe

300ZX (single turbo)

210 Series Skyline (with RB20 12 years ago)

XF wgn

3 Fairmont's (2xEF & 1xAU)

Soarer (TT)

N13 Exa

Liberty wgn

'97 Surf

EP91 Starlet (4EFTE turbo implant)

Plus many more I'm sure I've forgotten.

Obviously I'm not biased to one brand but you've got to love the silky smooth power of the 1J and 2J's.

Not planning on any mods - just planning on keeping her in good condition but I do have a set of freebie 17" BBS honeycombe's on the way to fill out the gaurds a litle more.

Anyway, its nice to see such a strong following of the Aristo in SA and I'll be sure to watch out for you guys if we're down in town and give you a wave.

Dave

New here- I'm Paul, a fossil at 48 yrs old. I'm a customs broker and a Flt Lt in the RAAF, splitting my year half and half between the two. Been importing cars (and bikes) for a few years now, currently have a '96 R33 GTR, a '97 Mitsubishi GTO and a '93 Aristo as the office car. My wife's got a '95 RVR and we've just brought her in a '99 Caldina which is a serious bit of kit. Also have a Jap spec BMW K100RS, a Yamaha V Max and a Honda GB500TT so the garage is a little cramped. My ambition is to have a bigger carbon footprint than Al Gore. I like to add burnt avgas to the atmosphere on a regular basis, and drink to excess whenever possible.

Hey blokes,

My name is anthony, 24, Started my mechanic apprenticeship at 17, now qualified and a manager of a performance shop in brisbane.

I have built three or four cars now, ranging from a commodore, celica (Gay I know) Currently to a JZZ30 twin turbo soarer and a JZS147 tt.

Hoping to learn alot more about these cars as my workshop mostly builds tough V8's, so i wanted to go against the grain as im trying to expand our horizons, as far as i know there is no aristo specialist in brisbane........ Not saying were specialists but were willing to learn and pass on our knowledge through this forum, the first build on mine is coming soon.
