its come down to the safc or the emanage ultimate but i have no idea i really just want something to get the ratios right and get a good tune decisions decisions _________________

Hang on a sec - how rich is the car running?
Stock you should get over 600k's to a tank - if not and you're not driving like a loon then there's something else wrong - like faulty O2 sensor or water temp sensor disconnected etc.
If that's the case then after market management might not help you unless you compensate ie switch off your 02 sensor but it will still run rich if water temp sensor is playing up.
It'd worth doing a fault code check on the computer to see what's going on Aristo's don't run silly rich from what I've seen.

Chose what the tuner is most confident with, so step one would be pick a workshop then step 2 pick the computer on what the tuner recommends. _________________

how far do you want to go with it?
if you dont want to do that much and are fairly happy with it as it is and dont really think you will go single turbo conversion or bigger injectors etc then the SAFC will probably be fine.
if you think you may go further where things get a bit more complicated and on a bit more of a knife edge tune wise with high power levels, go a replacement ecu like haltech

I would go a emanage over a safc,
Emanage blues are quite cheap now I only paid $250 for mine and $150 for the patch harness,
And also they have a few more features over the safc,
You don't want to buy a safc and then wished you payed a little extra for a emanage.
Just a idea. _________________
