I've only had mine for a brief time but I haven't heard the fart nosie since I put mine in. The shift time is too quick.
However, I have been manually shifting for most of the time so this may be why I haven't heard it.
What stage kit are you going to get? Mike will custom make the kit depending on how hard you want it to shift....he keyed mine as a 1.25 kit (it's still brutal) _________________

I have a 1.5 shift kit in mine,
I don't have that flutter between gears and it shifts quite quick but I must say it shifts quite hard as well.
I think I should have gone to a stage one for a every day car.
Every time my car shifts it makes the TRC go on.
I think its a good upgrade.
I want to fit a 2800 3000 stall to try and get it off the line harder. _________________

Mine does something like this on 2-3rd change @ full boost on cold nights. When it changes, the gearbox warning light comes on, and car hesitates for a second, then tears off like a wounded bull in 3rd. _________________

Have you tried pulling the TRC fuse?
I've had mine out for 6 months or more and never had any issues. _________________

Thats with TRC off. But I could pull the fuse again, just dunno how much I like the idea of that car in winter with no TRC.
weak!
just gotta be a bit more gentle at takeoff or around a corner.... or not, depending on how you feel. sure gets the adrenaline pumping _________________

I landed the aristo in a petrol station, across the road from a cop shop with the TRC fuse out, car snapped 2nd half way round the corner. Not looking to repeat the trip _________________
