I've only had mine for a brief time but I haven't heard the fart nosie since I put mine in. The shift time is too quick.

However, I have been manually shifting for most of the time so this may be why I haven't heard it.

What stage kit are you going to get? Mike will custom make the kit depending on how hard you want it to shift....he keyed mine as a 1.25 kit Razz (it's still brutal)

It does change really hard (in my opinion), all the time. On hotmix at mid throttle it'll chirp in 2nd, kids love it Very Happy

I'm not sure if the fact that I have the box fully built too has any effect on the shift manners Confused

If it was my daily I'd pull it out (or at least intall a less brutal one), but as I only drive it when I have time for a blat it's fine.

Speak to Mike and he'll set the pressure to your needs.

EDIT: My stally is the same as yours, the max Mike goes with the Aristo converter before it goes into a hybrid (2800-3000rpm)

I have a 1.5 shift kit in mine,
I don't have that flutter between gears and it shifts quite quick but I must say it shifts quite hard as well.
I think I should have gone to a stage one for a every day car.
Every time my car shifts it makes the TRC go on.
I think its a good upgrade.
I want to fit a 2800 3000 stall to try and get it off the line harder.

Mine does something like this on 2-3rd change @ full boost on cold nights. When it changes, the gearbox warning light comes on, and car hesitates for a second, then tears off like a wounded bull in 3rd.

Have you tried pulling the TRC fuse?

I've had mine out for 6 months or more and never had any issues.

Thats with TRC off. But I could pull the fuse again, just dunno how much I like the idea of that car in winter with no TRC.

I landed the aristo in a petrol station, across the road from a cop shop with the TRC fuse out, car snapped 2nd half way round the corner. Not looking to repeat the trip Razz

Never been a fan of computer controlled traction, prefer the right foot method.

Was @ 1/3rd throttle, was the change that chucked it sideways, and yeah there was a cop car behind me. $160 fine, 0 points. Smile
