I should be getting my Aristo from compliancing this week, and I'm looking for recommendations for places to to get some wheels and tyres from in Adelaide.
I don't know the Adelaide scene much, and living about 130 km. from Adelaide makes shopping around for anything a lot harder.
So can anyone suggest some places that actually know what an Aristo is and not just give you a blank look. I've tried a few Bob Jane places and seemed pretty clueless.
I'm not after anything radical (18x8, 18x9) and a budget of $2k max.

i would recommend doing a bit of your own research to discover the sizes and offsets that you want. those guys are going to be clueless about imports and you want to be happy in the end. even when you look at the Japanese websites and what they recommend, they are what i would call overly conservative.
but i think you would just be best asking people on here and doing some google searching and finding examples of other cars' fitments and then you can just actively seek out rims that are the right size/offset combo you want and good designs.

^^ i was going to suggest JMS seeing as you are in adelaide but wasnt sure if they were still around ,and also wasnt sure that they would be able to recommend the right fitment for a 147. so you may still need to do some of your own research

Thanks for the replies.
I had look at Japanese Import spares selection yesterday, my Aristo is being complied next door at Import compliance systems, but they only had two sets to suit, and both were out of my price range.
I will give steve's mate at Hackham Tyrepower a shot and see what he can offer on a package deal.
I have been into Jack Baker Tyrepower and had a quick look, but they are always flat out, and the guy that knows the most about imports etc. is always run off his feet.

I rang Hackham Tyrepower yesterday and spoke to Danny. Waiting for a call back with some prices. Danny was very helpful. Thanks steve for the referral.
I pick up the car from the compliancing workshop tomorrow at long last.

My car was done at Import Compliance Systems at Windsor Gardens. I got the car from Iron Chef, it's a bog stock '95, Gunmetal Grey, 76,000 km.
I haven't decided on wheels yet.
It's a balance between looks and practicality (No super low profile tyres or suspension)
