Jamie.. just for your info.... vic roads doesnt accept the vins stamped on a plate then riveted in... it MUST me on the actual car... hence why they are all just punched in...

im pretty sure its only victoria, as compliance issue it on a plate.. however for vic roads... it means nothing

Yeh my friend bought an imported Nissan 180SX last year and the VIN on his car was done the same way as it is on this Aristo

Atleast have a look at Tomee's as im sure he's negiotable on price Very Happy

Tastefully modded as basically most mechanically work done.

Quote:
Blitz ECU
GReddy spec M FMIC painted black
PWR transmission cooler
replaced brake master cylinder
brand new radiator from natrad
Greddy aluminum top hose radiator / silicon bottom hose
HR tiens adjustable suspension
Fujitsubo legalis super R exhaust
VOLK lightweight forged rims
LED cluster conversion
clear side indicators
full stereo setup, mp3/USB headunit with clarion Sub, pioneer speakers all around, 2 and 4 channel amps
viper alarm with pager system and remote start

Has well over 5k+ worth of extra's providing you get it for the right price ofcourse as looks like better value then the complete stock Aristo with scrapes on the front bar and suspect regulator as if you ever modify the stocker you'll be spending over what Tomee is asking.

Move the Verada on and you'll have some my coin to play with as dont sell yourself short as without tryng to throw Tomee's car at you as its a bloody nice example.

Tomee: i'll take the commission now mate LOL

I had the white one pictured in this thread checked out by a mechaic. It needs both front upper ball joints and rear left ball joint/control arm replaced. Also, the steering damper is missing. All of this contributes to the bad wheel alignment the car has methinks. What should I expect to pay to get all this fixed so i can bargain the price down a bit more.

I've got leads on 2 other white Arsitos i need to check out still (including one that belongs to a forum member). Hopefully i can find the right one soon!

The problem is with the front upper ball joints, not the more common lower ball joints. Also, the rear left control arm ball joint needs to be replaced as well. In the rear is there an upper and lower control arm and ball joint or only one?

And yes, i was refering to Tommee's car Smile

i dont get how it can be out of your price range if you have already stated that you plan to modify the one you are buying anyway? why bother buying an absolute bone stocker for 13k and then spending another 10+k on it to get it to the same standard as tomee's one? can you not sell the magna first then spend a little more now and end up spending a lot less in the long run?

mine is for sale too, but if you are looking at white/two tone ones and are a former magna owner, i guess it isnt your style... i can put a bowling hat and a knitted blanket over the parcel shelf perhaps? Razz

Because it's out my budget for now. Also, just because a car has been modded doesn't mean it has been modded to my taste. And no i can't sell the Verada now and wait for a good Aristo as i need a car for work.

Ok had a look at another Aristo today. Part of the deal would be leaving the aftermarket 18" wheels with the seller and putting some Mitsubishi Verada 16" wheels on until i can afford the 19" aftermarket wheels i want.

These are the specs of the Mitsubishi Verada tyres and wheels i already have:

Tyre size: 215/60/16
Wheel width: 6"
Wheel offset: 46 mm
Wheel centre bore: 67.1 mm

Would these wheels pose any problems in regards to fitment or scrubbing?
I know the overall diameter will be off by about 10mm but that's not a problem.
Main concern is fitment of the Mitsu wheels to the Aristo Very Happy

Id reckon theyd struggle to fit as the stock calipers / brake shround ecspecially at the front may have something to say about that in particular as the stock rims are 7.5' compared to Verada 6' width id reckon jack the front of the car and see if they fit 110% before you utilise the Verada stockies.

Doesnt Tomee's have 18s Smile
