guys
im looking at some vertini wheels, changed my mind a dozen times on wheels but think im going with them.
issue i have is they come in 19x8.5 & 19x9.5 (4 inch dish !!) and +38 offset.
Is this ok and will fit up ok ? Tyres will be 235/35 front and 255 or 265/30 rear (stretched) and will be sitting on coilovers.
Will this combo work and fit up ok with no issues ?
Please, only wanting valid responses, dont want stuff like ' Of course they will fit , just tub the rear end' etc.......

I'm pretty sure mine are +38 and I have 19x8 and 19x9.5 (235 and 265)...they fit great....and they aren't stretced at all.
No clearance issue either. _________________

i wanna go slight stretched look , i think i looks good and like it better than a flush or slight tyre roll look. nothing to crazy tho like the rim sticking out further that the tyre.
just my taste i guess.

i wanna go slight stretched look , i think i looks good and like it better than a flush or slight tyre roll look. nothing to crazy tho like the rim sticking out further that the tyre.
just my taste i guess.
You'll need bigger rims or smaller tyres then mate, mine are perfectly flat (I don't like the stretched look) _________________

yeah its a personal thing like everything. i personally dont like chrome bling wheels, but its a matter of personal taste, thats what makes us individual.
which wheels you got again ?

Personally I think you will regret this decision. Why? Because the Aristo is a heavy vehicle, and your combination of lowered suspension, large rims and 'rubber-band' tyres will translate every bump and gap in the road surface like a shock wave through your wheels to the steering wheel. You might find yourself getting out of the car everyday time you drive to check for damaged rims.
I say this from experience. I fitted 19s, 40 series tyres, and coilovers to mine and I have already had to return one wheel after two weeks that was buckled, and as I explained to the wheel shop, I don't remember hitting anything out of the ordinary. Even he was puzzled as there was no mark on the wheel or tyre, but it had a definited buckle. I drive very sedately and avoid any and all speed bumps, potholes and crappy roads.
You might like to reconsider the 'stretched' look as you are leaving the outer rim exposed to damage, and the 35 series tyres won't help.
I went with 40 series tyres as it was closer to the original rolling diameter re: speedo correctness.
Just my thoughts, for what they are worth!
... And to answer your question: 38 offset is just right. That's what I've got too!

i actually like the firm ride and ALL my cars ive had have been lowered and low profile tyres (30-35)
and its something im used to and dont mind at all.
the car its only a weekend toy and cruiser/trasher and i can easily put up with the suspension in the short runs i have.
im not a fan of larger profile tyres ot distracts from the rim and i guess for me its a little more look than performance, but in saying that most of the drift guys run a low profile stretched combo too so ?
another bonus of the lower profile is being able to set the suspension nicely without rubbing on the guards etc.
i guess im the only one out there that likes this style then ? lol

Both styles (Vertini and Verde) are very similar to mine - Koya 820. Nice choice guys.
Inside of the rim, the inside of the spokes and the small edge around the circumference is black. Rest is polished.
Car has new suspension now so sits much more aggressively over the top of the tyre now - maybe a bit too low for some of the speed bumps around Sydney!
