Sorry, forgot to post here first. As I said in the other thread:
Just bought an a '93 Aristo off a tuner out of Sydney. Took me 3 weeks to truck it up here to Townsville. Have seen only 2-3 Aristo's getting around up here.
Really happy with it. Have been told it's last dyno run was 278Kw at the wheels running 17lb boost. Am yet to confirm it since getting it up here. Will post engine pics later.

My name's Jo, 23yo today(!), am another Perthian and have a very, very, very patient gf of 5 years. I've joined this forum for about a month now, just being a reader more than a poster. I thought I'd better introduce myself since I finally made up my mind (and found the money) to buy an Aristo.
A couple of yous know me bcoz' I have been hassling a number of v helpful members with millions of PMs since I joined up and I reckon this is the best bunch of ppl I know. Everyone replies in such great detail and manner..
Anyway, I'm a drug freak...nono, I mean the professional type..A pharmacist or at least, nearly there...last year of training and then next year, I'm in charge of all your drugs (MWAHAHAHA...err). Nono, I do take care of all my experime...I mean, patients. I'm really no good with electronics, car stuff, wires, etc although I do love cars. If I sound like a newbie when I get my car, please know that I probably am the biggest newbie ever in car stuff. I enjoy detailing my cars - especially neglected ones like my gf's and her brother's.
I fell in love with an Aristo way back in the mid 90's when I was back home (in Brunei); my dad had just imported a gunmetal gray one from Japland and got an A/M ECU and a 320kph dash fitted and also tuned as soon as that came off the boat. I will never forget how far into the seat I flew when he took off on the highway and reached ~240kph. Unfortunately, my heartbroken dad and I were both left with a rusting Aristo two years later when our house got hit by a freak flood. He managed to sell it for about 1/10th of the original price after thousands of dollars of repairs - it would never feel like it was again after that stupid flood happened.
He later bought a JZS160 but that is nothing compared to the Aristo. I guess it's more luxurious and stuff but the fast and furious feeling was gone. We've still got it though with ~250,000 k's on the clock and still running like a brand new car.
Sigh, boring old history lesson - I've only got two previous cars:
95 Mitsubishi Lancer - fun, light with manual, loved it but causing me too much trouble, sold it
93 Toyota Camry 2.2 Auto (currently) - old man's car, reliable, slow, heavy, painful to drive sometimes
Gf owns a 06 Yaris, which I drive all the time coz' I'm the chauffeur..................... The throttle is just too sensitive for my liking, one small touch and it just revs its little behind off.
Her bro owns a 04 Rav4, so we're kinda like a Toyota family kinda thing (doesn't make sense...it's a bit late).
Final thing, I love dogs - they're so cute and loyal and exciting. We've got two cats here though in our place - stupid, lazy, doesn't respond to any calls, fat, looks like Garfield, too fat, overweight, lazy and sleeps all day, and fat. Not very exciting. I'm gona get a dog and he'll bite their butts off.
Thanks! Don't like to grow old but that's life for ya
Very unique indeed, I remember that the colour really suited it very well and people would point and stare as we drove past anywhere. It's a small country anyway (Brunei, I mean) and lack of police meant that there are no speed limits.
As far as I know, there were only 2 Aristos back then - the other a black one with silver rims and leather. It belonged to the King's top car engineer, who also happened to be the same guy who installed the 320kph dash and ECU on our car.
Anyway, I'm still looking for one - I've got an agent onto it now but I've told him that I'll wait patiently for a tidy, well-looked after black one so it might be a while before I even get pics but as soon as I get some pics, I'll post them up and start on a fun journey of waiting

Hey guys, long time listener, first time caller.. blah blah.
My names Ryan, im mates with a couple of the boys on this forum Daz and Gooch.
Im in the process of purchasing Gooch's Aristo of him for a nice price. Its getting some minor repair work done and a new HID kit installed.
Future plans at the moment is getting the car booked into Final Inspection car detailing to get a LVL 5 job done on it, then it should be looking like new!
here is the writeup on it that Prestige did.
~ FULLY TUNED BY BLITZ IN JAPAN WITH TOP MOUNT RX-6 TURBO. THIS VEHICLE WILL BE A PERSONAL IMPORT. IT IS EXPECTED TO BE ON ROAD BY NOVEMBER 2006 ~
This vehicle is virtually irreplaceable and took over a year to locate with the combination of colour, modifications, bodykit, sunroof and leather being very rare. Fully tuned by BLITZ in Japan. It will be imported in the next few months as a personal import so compliance in relation to the modifications is not an issue. It would be supplied fully registered and should be available by November. Power output figures are not available but are expected to be in the 300 rwkW range, with a quarter mile time most likely in the high 12's.
The price is $29,500 or near offer, on road and fully registered.
If you are interested in this vehicle, please let us know quickly by phoning 0418 944 253 and be prepared with the Stock ID (above).

What a rip with Prestiges price as that was early days in the importing of Aristo's as i assume youre buying the Kaiser
Piccies attached.
Id assume the price would be well below the purchase price youve listed previous as interesting car
with the front grille as to me the kit doesnt look full Veilside as a mixture of a few different designs.
Yea, its the kaiser
should be a good boat for a couple years. untill i can afford another 'true' sports car eg. Lotus or an ol school worked porshe for the weekends
Typical Japs ! Remember Geoff blabbering on about that car at the time as i thought it
was well over priced at the time but them again twas the early days.
Looking fwd to the new piccies on your beast once you purchase it off Gooch
Been taking advantage of the wealth of information here on this site for awhile so I thought I should start to contribute! These cars aren't the easiest to get a lot of information on I'm sure you'll all agree, and not many people are aware of their existence which I love!
Anyway I have a Mazda BFMR with a number of mods which I have had for 9 years now (i believe a few of these made it to oz?)
And of course.. a late 1991 JZS147 Aristo so one of the earlier ones, had it for 3 years now. It has 18" ROH Drift R rims, front mount, 3" exhaust (no cats as not required in NZ), and an AVCR which I installed last week sitting snuggly in the cigarette lighter/ash tray in the dash, nice and stealthy as folds away just like the tray should! In dash TV/MP3 player running standard speakers but not the sub.
I don't think I've missed anything! anyway any questions just ask
Hey all, my name is Keiran. I've been on here reading and buying a few things for my 1993 Black Aristo.
In my time i've had a few VL Turbos but now i've found the joy of a car that not only goes quick but also turns corners!!!!
I hope to get to know some other Aristo owners and join the WA boys on some cruises
Thanx and look forward to meeting you
Keiran

Welcome to the forums mate! Don't mean to be a dick but i gotta live up to the title under my name
The jzs147 is actually the mk1 Aristo (looks like you're trying to say MkII as in Mark-2, which were the jzs161). I assume you mean series 2
They're a confusing car but you'll pick it all up
Lookin foward to seein the pics _________________
