Any you guys that do burn outs find that it will do two wheels if u start in a straight line? mine will go sideways around a corner but u have to be revving it alot or already sideways from the straight line burnout, its not lsd is it or isn't it? it should be two wheels everytime in any given situation

Last freaked with by AristoManiac on Wed Mar 19, 2008 6:01 pm; freaked 1 time in total

By the sound of it mate you have an open diff or "single spinner".

That'll need rectifying mate.... Very Happy

you could have a lsd but its stuffed best way to check is open your bonnet look at the build plate for axel/A01-B... if you have something like A01-A you have a single pealer Razz

yeah i would say if you had a lsd and it was doin that its stuffed... because if it was a open diff it wouldn't make sense as most of the time you'll do one wheel in a straight line and if you went around a corner it would do one and then the second would kick in

yeah mate you have a ao1a open wheeler,i had the same thing.it does 2 wheels going straight for ages and as soon as you throw it into a donut its a single wheeler.i bought a diff ao1b for mine and fitted it myself.its a piece of piss.3 allen keys bolts in the rear and 2 in the front.then the half shafts are all allen keys and same with the tailshaft.get a mate to help you do it.it took me about 2 hours from start to finish.before i started i reoved the backing place and inspected the diff and it was perfect.it cost me $900.i put new toyota lsd oil back in it and mate the diff is sooooooo tight it swings the tightest donuts and fishes like any diff ive ever had.its the best diff ive had.dont lock the open wheeler or weld it as its not roadworthy and you will get a fine from the police.the AO1B lsd is a torsen diff not clutch type(trust me)by the A01b it will be the best investment.GOOD LUCK.IVE STILL GOT MY OPEN WHEELER ao1a siting in my car port doing nothing

I looked at the plate and its a open wheeler still its strange that it will do a dualy in a straight line and if i let the foot of the break its second or 3rd gear fish tails its orsome almost like a lsd but not want one, maybe in the future some time gonna do donut one day, i used to drift on gravel alot i'll get this thing going

yeah i tried to control it myself....so then it snapped back hard, then i tried to correct it again and it snapped back again

managed to keep it straight but i just slid into the wrong lane....and i wasnt even being a tool that time, a busy roundabout in the wet....had to gun it to get through....and as we all know at the best to times right foot + turning the wheel = arse out

My LSD is really tight not as much as a two way but if i am stoped and turning around full lock it chirps going around like a 2/1.5 way.

Anyone else get this?
