hi all im in the process of acquiring an aristo....test driving one this afternoon infact Smile

my name is Riley, im from Brisbane and i work at Northfeild Car Sound at Moorooka as in installer

current car is an ae82 twincam corolla that is falling apart around me....engine is running great and the car is great fun to drive but its getting rust, paint chips, air con has gone, etc

so basically the thing i love about the aristo is that its going to be a comfy cruiser with all the options and plenty of power to boot as sitting in traffic for a 2 hours a day in the heat, creeping foward inch by inch in a manual is getting tiring

should be a good platform from a car audio point of view....already have most of the system from the corolla.....front doors might be a bit tricky.....will have to ditch the ported enclosure to fit the 7's in there....but the goal will be to have everything looking nice and factory

so yeah hopefully all goes well today and i take a liking to the 2j

Mine is still sitting up at Brendale, compliance work done and more than likely waiting until this time next month to get a sticker because DOTARS suck farts from dead dogs.

Hi,

Ben here, been a happy Aristo owner for about two weeks.

My brother got me into the Aristo, he patiently imported one, a hot black 94 series two....which is on these forums.... under aristobren. I rushed out and bought one locally and have been really happy with the upgrade from my last car which was a 1964 Holden EH ute.

I currently live in Wagin, which is about 2.5 hours SE of Perth...so will be looking forward to making it back up for a meet n cruise someday!

1994 Silver with leather
Zeit 18's and FMIC

Can't imagine you'll see too many in Wagin mate.... Very Happy

Welcome aboard mate.

Cheers and yeah there are none down here. Theres only a couple import/tuner cars down town.... a pulsar with a milo tin and shopping list and a skyline.

But theres no traffic lights down here anyway...

Welcome upg Smile

If you are after mods mate can I suggest Surpa Forums both American and Australian as they have a lot more technical data than this site as the Supra is a much more commonly modified car and people have been modding them for quite some time now.

But stay around on here too, lots to learn about the Aristo itself Smile

G'day all.

I am a 33y.o. male car enthusiast. I currently own a JZZ30 Soarer TT manual. Since buying my Soarer six years ago I have become a big fan of over engineered Toyotas with unrealised potential.

Previous car list reads like a fast fours core sample:

Rx-7 ser II- pretty full on street/track car
Vauxhall Vectra - imported, not the locally made rubbish
Subaru Forrester
Holden Gemini G180 - once again pretty full on for the time
Mini SS convertible - cut my teeth on this car
Mini clubman S - destroyed engine inside a month, donated lots of spares to above

Wifes car is a Subaru Liberty RX

I have two sons 5, and 1. I like working with my hands in my spare time. I am willing to have a go at most things after some research.

I have joined this forum as my mate, AJZS , is picking one up tomorrow. I may be convinced to pry the missus out of the Liberty and into one of these Aristo things.

I didnt see this page lol

Anyway my names Ashley im 21 and live in the southern suburbs of Perth Smile I currently work at armaguard as a cash processor but im half way through my training to join the roadcrew (guys with guns Very Happy that empty and pack the atms)

Im yet to own an aristo once my S13 is sold then game on i hope to have an aristo atleast secured before the month of march is out Smile *fingers crossed*

Cars i have owned over my life are
1987 Ford Telstar (4 speed manual haha) first car
1993 S13 Silvia SR20DET (with minor mods)
1992 Widebody Sil80 SR20DET (rolling shell didnt get round to putting engine in lol)
1991 S13 Silvia Blacktop SR20DET (minor mods)

Silvias are great fun to thrash around in but im kind of over them, time for a larger car and one that has LOTS of modifying potential Very Happy and a nice comfy cabin!

Should also add not married but have a g/f looking at getting our own place within 12 months but i want my car first otherwise once i have a mortgage it wont happen lol.

And im still trying to convince her to get a pure breed german shepard (best dogs ever) she wants some lap dog you will loose down the side of your seat... Confused

Ive already learnt some great information from this forum and ive only been on a couple of days now, i look forward to my first cruise when the beast arrives should be good meeting you all!

My name is Ryan, 24, married, southern suburbs of perth.

Used to be heavily involved with SilviaWA, and have already noticed a few people on the forums I knew through SWA and also antilag, but these days i am much more of a passive enthusiast and take a back seat.

Past cars:

Silvia Q - converted to turbo, converted to 1via, then skyvia, then back to silvia, 275rwhp at the wheels @ 1.2bar, 13.0 @ motorplex, and drifted at collie a few times.
Datsun 1600 - had two of these, one with L20e, one with CA18DET, the idea of old cars is very 'romantic' but alot of work.
Cefiro A31 - non turbo project car, bought a rb20det half cut, but never went ahead with it.
Jeep Wrangler - lots of off road fun and very reliable.

Like Ashmo said, the silvia is a totally awesome car and has been easily my favourite and still miss it, but i wanted to move on from the boy racer stereotype, and whilst the jeep was fun, it lacked a turbo and more and more i wanted comfort - enter the aristo.
