I have been waiting for this for months!!!!!

The blokes over in the UK organized this and I didn't find out until after I laid my money down that it actually came from acompany in NZ!

www.jpnz.co.nz

One of the blokes on the UK site lent them his handbook and it all happened via a third party. Anyway, if anyone here is interested, I am sure you can order one yourself through the NZ website directly.

I have only had a quick flick through the book and my initial impression is positive. The only thing that is annoying is that they have set the book at a slight angle, a production fault and I am a bit pissed as $50- is still alot of money for something that is not perfect! The contents however is good and it has all the info that you need to operate everything in your Aristo.
Overall, I think they have done a good job with the translation.
These books should be included with the complience!

Smile

I don't wish to end up in a copyright court case my friend!

They use some of the pictures from the original and it seems that they do arrange it a little differently to the original. (I do have the original.)

If you are willing to part with the $50- or so dollars, then really it is worth it. As I said before, I am happy with the book overall. The english description seems to be well written and just like any other factory handbook. I can justify the extra money as it is unique. Probably more like $30- would be reasonable, but the way I justify it in my mind is that the company in NZ have to pay people to spend hours writing the translation and then they have to have it printed and then sell it etc. It has answered some of my questions already and I have owned my car for a year now.

Sorry guys.

This is NOT the complience one! This is the translation of the full Japanese one. (LOL! I now have this one, the complience one and the original Japanese one!)

The complience one is mainly based on safety features like seatbelts. This one explains all the features of the car.

A good example is that 'old chestnut', "why have I got 2 washer bottles?' Well we all know that you can find out here on the forum, however, it actually states it in this book. Or, how about if you have a sun roof and the electronics fail. How do you wind it up manually?

Anyway, there you go.

My wife sign for another package and it at the same time. She only signed once so she is not sure if it was for both items or not. I am assuming it was for both. It was delivered on Friday afternoon. I would check with your local post office. If it was needed to be signed for and you were not home, that's where it would be!
