hi
i am hoping someone can assist i am trying to find someone in Brisbane who can service my Aristo, i used to do all this kind of work myself but simply no longer have the time with work commitments , house moving etc etc.
i am looking for someone who is honest and is not going to be frightend off by an aristo, i love the car but servicing is becoming a painfull experience. i currently have a passenger seat which is dead and 100,000km service which is not far offjavascript:emoticon('')
Sad .
I have even had to farm out the fluid changes to the local garage, whilst they were done ok $400 for an oil and coolant change strikes me as a little expensive !! and i know the 100k and seat is just going to scare the bejesus out of them.
Firstly - welcome to the forums!!
Someone who is always recommended by the QLD Supra Club and is one of their main sponsors is Brad who owns 'BOOSTED XTREMES'...
Contact number: 0421 228 772

If you are anywhere near Albion call Jay at Superior Automotive, 4 Beaumont St. 3262 3233. He's an import / euro specialist, spotless workshop and won't dud people. Tell him Anthony referred you.

looked into this , it seems like a fair bit man.
Depending on who you go through. general rate seems like
500 on SF.com.au . Probably want to spend a bit more instead of a normal shitty mechanic as well.
Who wants to come round to mine and ill give them... oooh 3 cartons of alcohol of choice ??
also prepare to replace the water pump, balancer and front seal.
So set aside like a G.

many thanks to all i will gives these guys a call - the importer who's name i will not mention were very helpful when i bought the vehicle but surprise surprise are no longer in interested in assisting - despite assuring me that they could back up a vehicle. it will be nice to track down a genuine "enthusiast"
Give Brad @ Boosted a call - details above in my first post..
he sponsors the QLD Supra Club and does A LOT of work on their cars....
He knows 2j's and would have no problem with the Aristo..
Mention Jodie from the Supra Club recommended you - might help out in the cost department a lil... _________________

x2 ...
when the mechanics I was dealing with suggested my engine was a lemon.. it was Brad who convinced me otherwise and restored my hopes and made me pursue owning the car (for the while I had it, til for personal reasons I sold it) ... definitely call him!
