This might be a good time for everyone to update their location in their profile too. It's frustrating when you don't know where someone is when they are selling something or asking for help....(to borrow stuff etc.) _________________

i am going to make a big claim here.
most of us vic guys all got our cars complied at the same place (as there is only one place able to do it in melb).. and i think the mixture of the workshop leaving the first cat in there as well as the shonky looking front pipe is the reason why we have not made as much power or gotten times as good as people west of the border.
in any case, i've ordered a decat+front pipe from ben and they will be going in the car in a couple weeks. im going to get it dyno'd again and we'll see how much difference it really makes

Hmm. No offence to Ben etc.......but I tend to think that most of them take shortcuts along the way. I am the first to admitt I don't know much about it, but I think that it has alot to do with the fact that the rules are kinda clear on what the outcome needs to be, but not too clear on how it should be achieved. Kinda like telling my 5 year old son to clean his room, coming back in 20 mins to a clean and tidy room but a mess of a wardrobe. (He's pulled that one many times.)
Wiring is always a big issue along with the exhaust.
Hang on.....my blood is starting to boil again!!!!!!
Anyway, I've already got my front pipe thingy off Ben and we'll see how it all goes. (I have my turbos still sitting in a box.)
