You know what your problem is? Stock turbos.....

Heaps of room once you fuck those lumps of junk off, supra water pump without the Hydro pump on it as well prob helps to.

WELL.................have to "vent" here lads....!! Mad Mad feel free to piss your pants over this one.... Suprised

this IS the kind of day i had today...... Run Away

paint a picture here ::: car on stands. new thermostat / seal / rad cap / red rad fluid .

last 24 hours have had "dishwashing powder" in the rad for cleaning purposes.! dropped bottom hose of thermo housing and started flushing the system out to get rid of foam / shit in radiator.!
once all clean...removed thermo housing , pulled out old thermo / replaced with new one + seal , and then under the car to replace unit !

IF...you have ever done this, you will notice a small black encased wires running over the top of the thermo housing....? THIS ....gave me a huge problem today..! Mad Sad
with water every where + still coming out of block , i replaced the housing and bolted it up with the 2 , 12 mill nuts .filled the rad with new fluid , put my heater on max heat, and ATTEMPED....to start the car....

NOTHING........... Confused the POS...would not start...? after dicking about for bloody ages , trying to find out WHAT , i had done here wrong...........................I FOUND IT...!! Sad Mad

the above mentioned "wire" (i now know there are 2 here red / white one ) HAD fallen down , and when i placed the thermo housing back up, and tightened it up , i JUST caught THIS WIRE in the thermo housing and CUT THE THING IN HALF !!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....it was CUT...and one end was "earthed" onto the thermo housing , until i unbolted this ,and pulled the wires out !!! again water all over ME...

and then had to "splice" the wires . add 12 inches of wire into the "loom" so to speak and use "heat shrink" around all for safety and connect it back up...!! BINGO...!!! IT LIVES AGAIN...!!

keep this in the "maybe usefull info" page of the mind , just in case YOU DO THIS....... Dunno NICK.!

ooohhhh.....and after ALL THIS.....does my car run heaps cooler.....NO....!!! Mad
the dash sender is f&%ked , and giving me a FALSE reading....... Yuck only a month old !

Thought about throwing an AM temp gauge in somewhere, then you'll be 100% on what the temp actually is?

i HAVE re-worked a lot of 147 dashs to date.....and have NEVER had a temp sender go bad and send the needle on it.....upto the boiling red mark...... Confused
most , well all to date....just dont move or only move a "tad" and give a false reading..!! you live and learn i guess. Smiley nick .
