Hy guys, just sussing the true twin turbo mod via toggle switch but tha
layout in the forum post on how to do it is a different pin layout to mine.

Q. Can I still use pin 39 & 40? My wiring colors look slightly different...

Thanks for reply....

I have figured out that mine is stock (obviously)

But my E9 plug (left) side of things (the VSV1 & VSV2) is completely different to others i have sen on the net. In fact nothing to match mine...?

Does any body think i can still use the second row far left (doesnt state pins 39 & 40 thats all??) so i can still try and suss the TTC mod Via switch??

Hope all makes sense.

Wires are different in color too, looks almost identical except a few lil wiring configurations......

Help please.....

Ok not much responses so im just going to try and do it.
(if all doesnt work, ill just have to re-wire as it was and leave it with Seq mode.

Fingers crossed though.....

Im just going to disregard the pin diagram of MY ecu pin layout as i have not seen ONE with the same type as ALL the others i have looked at have been correct so i dont know why my would differ!!

You linked to your personal gallery so it would only ever bring up your own photos if logged in.

That doesn't really help that picture though..

However - The wiring colour is to be ignored when comparing with say a supra wiring diagram. The pinouts are mostly the same but the colours are different..

You would be safe to go off the pin numbers but not wire colour..[/quote]

Yes it is?

First row 1-10, second row 11-20, third row 21-30, fourth row 31-40.

I don't see what the issue is?

Thats the E10 (A) plug, im looking at the far LEFT side of plug the E9. (ECU)

for the TTC mod, all the post/pics they use the E9 plug from the ECU.....mine is numbered top row, 1 (right) to 10 (left) on so on.
second row, 10 (right) to 20 (left)

PIN numbering im talking about....

} NOT E10 (a) & (b) plugs which is the two plugs far right of ECU (obviously)

So....my ECU E9 has Top row from right to left.....

10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 - top row
20 19 18 17 16 15 14 13 12 11 - second row
And so on....

By the looks, E10(a) has the same pin numbering as my E9.

As all others I have seen on the net have their pin layout differently to mine.
Such as pins 40 39 38 37 etc on the second row of E9.

Is this normal or you think it may have had the original pin plug but maybe had issues so the ex owner just use a spare E10 (a) plug.....?

I dunno....all the wiring looks like it hasn't been tampered with and looks stock.

Can I use on my pin plug E9 pins 20 & 19 as if it was like all the one I have seen on the net, the wires would be for the IACV & EGCV.

OR...

Can I use pins 40 & 39 which is located on mine at the bottom of E9 plug..?

Ignore what is written on the plug and just go by the positions.

The actual numbers do not matter - Only that you get the correct pin.

All done now thanks to Chappo for assisting me with this, much appreciated.

So i have done it, thoughts......Its aiight....kinda.

So when I switch to Seq mode, the switch is MEANT to be towards the IACV & EGCV & not at the ground end of the switch as that would be in TTC mode...as stated in the picture on how to do this Mod. (diagram)

Only thing i noticed with the picture setup/mod with the switch, is when the switch is in the TTC (flicked towards Ground wiring) the pic states is in TTC mode, mine on the other hand is reverse???
(I did 100% EXACTLY what the pic tells/shows you to do!!)

All works as should, exhuast note is louder/different, lag at bottom end, I just thought the TTC would be more of a PUSH in your seats thats all, i didnt find much difference with both coming on at same time.

I just wanted to see what other peps thought about my switch side of things....

General consensus normally is that it is slower down the qtr mile and that you get a hell of a lot more drone..
