So I have the master key for my Aristo with the button on the side, replaced the battery in the key and it will work work. I made sure the switch is in the on position in the car and still nothing. Any ideas? Can anyone verify the correct battery that is suppose to be used for the key fob?

Was it working before you replaced the batery? Might be worthwhile checking the on/off switch actually works as it should. Also has the car currently/previously had some sort of aftermarket alarm fitted? _________________

No it didnt work before I replaced the battery, thats why i replaced it thinking it was dead. I could try looking into the switch, i have an extra rhd aristo from clip so I can swap out the switch, but everything else works on the car, I figured it needed to be reprogrammed. Can anyone tell me what battery the key fob takes?
whats this on/off switch? i got a master key for my aristo and the button on the side has stopped working last night and now the doors will not lock or unlock at all is it as simple as getting a new battery?
